Ranked Game of Silver 3's set against a player who is Plat 5 ?

I understand this is flex vs solo/duo .... but this should not happen. The players you play against should be at the level of your highest rank for that season.

that is a plat 5 flex not plat 5 duo

Both queues have separate MMRs. What you're proposing would be to hand solo players the same rank in flex even if they didn't earn it yet. Not a viable nor fair way to make a ranked queue.

Few Possibilities.

  1. S/he was Boosted
  2. Gamed the system with a Duo (Riot needs to put the low in with the high, not the other way around)
  3. Tanked MMR to get in low Rank games.
  4. Riots MMR system didnt have enough to make a close MMR game in the allotted time so Riot said F&*K You.
  5. Riot needed to make someone on the enemy team get closer to 50/50 (because the system is build to force everyone into a 50% win rate) so it made SURE the enemy team would win. (Riot saying F&*K you)

That's a Plat 5 in FLEX Queue. That's very different from Solo. They are Silver 2 in Solo.
