What non-mage support actually uses Spellthief's anymore?

Edit: What support REALLY goes STE, rather than people randomly chimping out and using it for whatever reason in their normal games?

You take coin for a guarenteedly solid mid/lategame gold wise.

You take spellthief's when you intend to give someone the best form of CC.

I feel like nami can reasonably go either way between spellthief and coin. I lean to coin usually, but I know some nami players who still prefer spellthief.

THIS IS THE BIGGEST POINT

Spellthief's and Relic Shield are for lane pressure on mages and tanks respectively. Coin is basically worthless in combat, it's purely to make as much gold as possible throughout the early game. Coin gives more gold than the other two, but if you build it, you have to be ready to get destroyed by the enemies if they want to play aggressive.

Don't think Bard really counts as a Mage, so him. He can easily take advantage of the item 3303 passive by autoing with a Meep, which gives him two ticks of gold and damage. Can't really go wrong with it either because he does so much damage with the right runes and good amount of Chimes.

Bard, at least I do. I like having poke rewarded over having walking around rewarded. I don't think I need the mana coins cause of chimes.

None, because the item is meant for mage supports, not for any other support.

im more concerned that item 3097 doesnt say that the sheild is attached to the item but you cant keep the sheild if you sell the item.
