Demoted because team plays new champion?....Can you do something to prevent new/reworks in ranked.

I literally had a reworked swain in 3/3 of my last games (on my team) and lost 3/3 of my last games. Can we do something to stop new or reworked champions being played in rank for at least 2-3 weeks as the usually make the whole tam lose because no one knows how to play them....Thank You.
