Old malzahar was better in every way, Malz doesn't need a banshees and he doesn't need to be able to jungle. He was fine the way he was you know why? Because he was one of the few champions that could actually take on the "tank meta" his old W did hp% damage. You build him and the game's over. His defense was a good offense and his E was wayy better than it is now. He was my favorite champion and riot took their strap on and fucked him in the ass.

i'm guessing riot isn't too active on this site. Because they did the exact opposite of what you said and added an MR item that counters him

Give the voidlings back their normal health bars and give them very low base health. Then make their health scale based on a small ratio (like 10-18%) of Malzahar's total AP.

This way the voidlings are easy to deal with until Malzahar gets about 500 AP.
