Meh damage and low range means he gets dumpstered in lane and then gets outscaled on top of that.

Short range means he gets closer to minions to farm, that gets him prone to getting poked by almost anyone and insta gangbanged if he uses e to retaliate

Honestly it's his range. He just gets blown up when people group because he can't stay safe. He didn't have the uncounterable invisibility like vayne does for safety. He just going to get run down and shit on by Poppy and the likes

just his basic range is all, he good in early game mid game, team fights is what kinds of kills him since just his basic range, i remeber his range used to be a lot more , but hes not weak, decent spot then most adc are atm
