cause whenever i get into a gamer against one its basically gg ff 20 mins because no matter how safe i play he ends up getting fed to high hell thanks to his 3 second troll poll and dash plus his ult

Basically any champions with strong laning phases, and/or high levels of wave clear. Make sure you call your MIAs, and if you're in another lane, ward like your life depends on it, because it does. If Fizz doesn't get ahead during the laning phase he's pretty useless, and he actually has a fairly weak laning phase believe it or not.

I especially like Cho'gath and Talon into the matchup. Cho'gath can prevent Fizz from hopping through the Playful/Trickster with the silence, then comboing him afterwards to get solid guaranteed damage. Talon can actually dodge the fish with his E rendering fizz adorably weak afterwards, plus there's few champions who outburst Talon. Zed also has a similar interaction, but you have to lose your ultimate for it.

Yeah, not sure why I didn't think of that too. Admittedly I always like to fight back if I dodge the fish as he doesn't do that much damage afterwards.

Fizz was my most hated champion for a long time, but that was before they gutted his Q dmg, nerfed his W a bit, and changed his ult to be more interactive with his other skills... He's still annoying at times.. but not nearly as frustrating as before. "oh i have lichbane and zhonyas, i missed my R and my E, but ill press W and then Q through your ADC and take 85% of his health bar" -> old fizz in a nutshell.... fizz is probably more balanced now than i can ever remember. :P

You forgot to mention that you can also dodge his Q by flashing, using a dash ability like Lucian's E or simply by moving fast enough, but yeah I agree on what you said old fizz was cancer :P

Chances are he will wait for your counter attack to E. Ranged poke that is backed by point click hard CC and some kind of tankiness helps. Ryze Annie

I remember the last time I vs a fizz. I was hugging tower and he would q, w, auio attack, then e away and he wouldn't take a tower shot. so stupid

I see you have 7 games played as Fizz with a 14% win-rate, so maybe if Fizz was as stupid as you claim you would have won more games?

Anyways, it takes about two seconds for Fizz to complete a Q and auto-attack animation before he can E away. This is two seconds you have to hit him with crowd-control which is extremely easy to do.

Don't get me wrong, I am not great with fizz, Nor do I think he is unbalanced. I am just claiming if you vs a fizz who has any idea about matchups, most everyone on your team is in for a rough game.
