Tryhard Ranked Mode?

Browsing the forums here a lot of people (myself included) are frustrated by players not taking ranked seriously. Yes, it's preseason, but I always thought ranked = tryhard mode in the first place. Well, clearly it is not. That's fine, some people want to be casual about things and that's completely their prerogative, but speaking personally I only log onto League to play seriously. I am a tryhard. That's the whole point of this game for me. There are many much better games and non-gaming hobbies to goof around with if you're not being serious and just want something to keep you occupied. It's simply frustrating to not play with, and even against players who aren't giving 100% all the time.

All that said, what do you folks think about Riot somehow giving us a queuing option to be paired with/against other serious players (near the same rank) who choose this option? It may make it tougher to climb, but at least the games will be closer and more satisfying. Then if people goof around after choosing this mode we have reasonable grounds to report them. I certainly don't like to report people, but when you have 2 groups of people with a wildly different outlooks on the game I really feel something like this is necessary...

Biggest problem i see is that the trolls etc... all would want to mess up the try hards, so it'd probably be even worse.

Second biggest problem is all the true try hards would go to regular ranked for easier wins.

That is a good point. It would definitely have to come with some heavy handed enforcement first and foremost. Speaking personally I definitely play better in a game full of tryhards though. Maybe it's being a support main, but when my allies can be relied upon, even against an equally determined enemy I can assume they will act logically and can base my assumptions on their doing so. IE I can toss a bard ultimate on an enemy who is caught out and know my allies will follow up on it.

I realize I'm effectively asking for pseudo-premade 5v5 quality games, but as someone with a busy schedule it's tough enough to find a reliable duo partner let alone coordinate 5 people to meet up. It's like herding cats especially with so many teenagers playing the game. It would just be nice to get something between the ranked mode we know and 5v5 team matches.

So what happens when the trolls decide to use the option too ? Do we make another queue for tryhards who really want to try ? What happens when trolls use that one too ? Do we make a queue for tryhards who really want to try who really want to try ? What happens when....errr ok, this could go on forever. Think I'll stop.

Like my other reply, it would have to involve much more enforcement than the current setup. Literally a no BS game mode. But when you queue for this mode you know what you're signing up for so there's no excuses when you get banned or blocked from queuing on this mode.

Then wouldn't it be simpler to use the more draconian methods on the queue we already have rather than making a new queue for this ?

Under gold their isn't a lot of differents between ranked & normals. You could carry hard from any position getting your whole team fed only to see one guy try to 1v5 while ignoring the team. Unless you are so fed to 4v5 the game is pretty much over. It's really funny that players keep their 1v5 behaviour in check when the game is less snowbally.
