How does Warlord's Bloodlust work?

Title I can never understand it. It seems like it just grants additional lifesteal based on missing health but I personally never see a difference whether I have lifesteal already or not.. What does it do that I'm not understanding?

It gives you life steal based on missing health... 25% effectiveness against minions.

25% for ranged on minions, 50% for melee

You're correct, I wasn't 100% sure. If you are low enough for the whole 20% I think you get a green glow around you when you auto attack.

So. I don't think it shows the life steal visually, but as your heal gets lower, you begin to gain lifesteal, as you know. When your at full health, i don't think it grants any (Maybe 1 idk) but if you're at lowest health (ex; tryndamere) it can give up to 20% lifesteal. So basically, you have the concept of it. Also, if you face a low health yasuo, you CAN see the difference. trust me. YOU CAN TELL!

Actually when they're really low, you can see the Warlord's particles. It's a red whisp-y effect that goes from the enemy champion the the other

go into a custom game and press c to see your lifesteal stat. now go tank a wave of minons and watch as the lifesteal goes higher and your health gets lower. i cant really find another way to expain

this is exactly what doesn't happen and what confuses the OP

Basic attacks on enemy champions gain increasingly more life steal based on your missing health, granting 0.06% - 20% (based on Missing health) bonus life steal. The life steal against minions is 50% as effective for melee champions and 25% as effective for ranged champions, granting 0.03% - 10% (based on Missing health) and 0.02% - 5% (based on Missing health) bonus life steal respectively.

The amount of life steal gained caps-out at 80% missing health, but does not scale linearly. 10% missing health: ~1% 50% missing health: ~9% 80% missing health: 20%

(Does not work against monsters.)

It basically works like lifesteal vs champions, it does not work vs monsters and only at reduced effect vs minions and thus it's no actuall lifesteal, meaning it doesn't show incresed lifesteal on your stats (C). But teh heal certainly is noticeable when low and you see some red whisp-y effect, a bit similar to the green effect when slaying a big monster.
