@Riot: If the tech were available, would you make a "Murky" for League?

Murky

Every time I play Murky, I end the match with a smile on my face because of how ridiculously fun he is. He's squishier than any other hero in HotS, but makes up for it with quick respawning and not giving full kill rewards to the enemy, making him the ultimate annoyance.

Now, while Teemo has the annoyance factor down, he doesn't quickly respawn. Murky, on the other hand, is never out of the fight for long (unless you kill his egg), so killing him ends up being relatively exhausting and relatively unrewarding (though nothing says you shouldn't kill him). To balance out his quick respawning and persistent lane threat capabilities, Murky is weak at team fights and objective control due to his very short range and due to AoE abilities quickly annihilating him.

I can't help but wonder what we might get if we got a quick-respawn Champion like Murky added into League. Would this be something Riot might want to try at some point?

because the "revive" summoner spell worked so well.

What strategic value does that add to the game that ISN'T insanely annoying?

This can't work for League. The only reason it works for HOTS is because the mechanics and kit designs of that game are so batshit insane and all over the place, and less tied to itemization, that they can afford to have weird power levels in kit.

League is designed with a more competitive mindset, so something like Murky really wouldn't have much breathing room in the game. Basically any lane they're in would fall, because they'd not be able to compete against a legitimate opponent.

Actually, Murky can hold his own if he's 1v1 in a lane. He has absurdly high health regeneration, which is counterbalanced by his low max HP. This way, if you don't burst him down, he can just pull back and regenerate to full health after about 20-30 seconds. And even if you do kill him, he'll respawn quickly thanks to his egg.

This makes fighting a Murky feel like a thankless task, but one you need to do nonetheless.
