Oh, lee Sin is crowding out jungle picks at higher elo? Better give him a small buff to make him better at lower elo for the sake of consistency.

Oh, Nidalee is crowding out jungle picks at higher elo? Better give her a nerf that will barely affect her high elo winrate at all while almost completely gutting her for anyone without perfect jungle mechanics.

I get that nid was OP but... why this.

Editing to notify that as of this moment Nid's winrate at plat and up is as high as it was pre-nerf. So clearly, she will be receiving more adjustments pretty soon. Please think harder this time around.

Lee sin makes "plays" and a lot of people buy him/skins for him and play him so they can fail at being cool infront of their friends.

Because if Riot nerfed Lee Sin at all Lee would file a discrimination report and then it would hurt the company as a whole.

Lee Sin hasn't been crowding out other picks since early season 4. He's also never been as outright dominant as Nidalee was in the 2 different occasions that she's been at the top of the food chain. Lee Sin's never had a 57% winrate in Diamond+; Nidalee has on multiple occasions.
