Occasionally when I play Jayce I'll buy item 3042 . Sometimes, in the same game I'll also build item 3147 . My question is, does Nightfall proc Shock?

I don't see why it should, Nightfall is neither an AA, nor a Spell. It's just an effect.

If it would, we'd already have Ezreal's tripple proccing everything again.

I don't see why it would; Nightfall isn't a single target spell or an attack.

Then again, apparently wiki says it works on BotRK active, so maybe it works the same way.

People probably wouldn't be so quick to buy BotRK on Ezreal if the active didn't proc Shock.
