New Warwick counters Yasuo ult, Vi ult and more

Something you may or may not know about the new Warwick: if you hold down your Q and swing around the target, you are immune to displacements while swinging. (Not immune to the damage, just the displacement.) Displacements includes knockups, knockbacks, knock-asides, and pulls.

So if you're laning vs Yasuo, just swing around a minion every time he tries to knock you up. You might even be able to swing around Yasuo if you time it right. However, you're not immune while dashing to the target, but you are while swinging around them. The same tactic can be used against Vi's ult as well. Other notable reactable displacements you can cancel are: Chogath Q ; Fizz R ; Hecarim E ; Ivern Daisy knockup ; Janna Q ; JarvanIV EQ combo ; Kled Q ; Poppy R ; Rammus Q ; Sion Q ; Volibear Q ; Zac E ; Zyra R Other displacements are either difficult or impossible to react to, so you will have to predict them.

Important note! Certain displacements have a stun attached (or are suspensions, which is not a displacement as far as I know). This means that you can cancel out the displacement effect, but not the stun attached to it. These include, but are not limited to: Alistar W (no stun on his Q though) Janna R (no stun on her Q though) XinZhao R (no stun on his Q though) Blitzcrank Q Nautilus Q and R Velkoz E Nami Q (no stun on her R though)

Final disclaimer: I have only tested this vs Alistar and Vi. This covers nearly all cases, but there might be an interaction that is different from what I stated (for example, possibly Poppy R).

EDIT: Works on XinZhao Q and Rammus Q

You can also make MF miss her ult by going through her.

GOOD. FUCK YASUO AND FUCK VI.

Thanks to league of legends, I ban yasuo every game 100% of the time I get to ban, doesn't matter if a team mate wants it, I ban it. I will continue to do so as long as this game exists and I don't care if he is nerfed into the center of the earth, I will continue to ban him until this game is done existing.

Cash me ouside

Don't forget the Dragon aggroing knockback.

It states it in his Q tooltip that he's immune. How did people not know this?

Now did you know you're unstoppable during your ult leap? Cause that certainly isn't in his tooltip. Kled is also immune in his ult as well, though I don't believe that is in his tooltip either.

what about malphite ult?

Nami's Q is actually just a stun that procs Yasuo's ult for consistency to visuals, not a displacement.

Sion Q has is a knockup + stun

you can dash ''trough'' him however he can also drop his q early and stop you mid dash

the only way to not be fucked by Sion Q is to avoid it

Not sure what to think about this. Seems hypocritical to be ok with it if I didn't like the riven bug, but he's not the only one that can still ignore cc. Ez, trist, and a couple others are on that list.

Warwick is the next Riven, but since people now know that he can avoid Yasuo and Vi's bullshit, they're gonna love him.

I don't understand why some movements get immunity like ww Q, but then others can be interrupted like trist W

Actually, you don't have to swing around with it. I've used it on dragon periodically to negate the knock back.
