Can Fizz not be immune to Karthus's ult?

Honestly it makes no sense for him to be immune to Karthus's ult when he's not immune to Fiddlestick's Drain or DoT damage when he dances on that pole...

Because Karthus ult is a delayed nuke, its not a DoT.

How doesnt it make sense? Now this thread doesnt make sense.

No fizz gets to block karthus ult, Those forms damage are applied before fizz poles and if you landed your ult before he did as well the damage would go through for you just as it does for them. If you're ulting a Fizz as karthus when you know his troll pole is up then you just wasted your ult and it's your fault.

Actually, Fiddlestick's Drain uses a mechanic called tether, which is unaffected by untargetability, such as Vladimir pool and MasterYi alpha strike.
