spam friend requests

i am assuming these are just bot accounts that spam a scam website, but can they do anything (like steal account info with some program) just for accepting the friend request to block, since there is no block option in the request, or are they just bots that spam a website link to you

I've received a few random invites as well. I assume they're just spambots that can't actually hurt you.

I have been getting multiple of these friend requests daily. The first one I mistakenly accepted simply messaged me a link to an advertisement. Hopefully Riot will be able to handle these spam requests soon....
