If you really thing that since Rek can sustain in the jungle that she's the top tier jungler now you're so wrong. It's a strength to her many weaknesses.

i wasnt implying that the new champ will be op.

just pointing out the fact that they make jokes about how the jungle is for only a handful of champions now, instead of looking to improve other champions.

like i haven't even seen a hecarim jungle in months, unless it was me playing him cuz i got bored.

just because leona and braum were being used last season as odd but effective junglers, they had to make fun picks impossible. woops they have support on their character sheet better make it so you cant have fun with them.

and the funny thing is, they nerfed the smite item that gives you true damage each hit as a nerf to warwick god mode jungle, and then they also added nerfs to warwick directly. so he got double nerfed... ok GG Ghostcrawler

I'm sorry but that is simply not even remotely true. Literally anyone can jungle still with some success and some far easier than they should. After you clear two camps you can get your your upgraded smite and the jungle becomes easy mode.

As someone else mentioned you may want to go watch the unicorns of love vs tsm game one from iem. twisted fate jungle should absolutely never work and yet it does in this jungle. You just have to adapt if you want to take your off picks into the jungle. It really isn't hard for most champions.

Tip: Quinn vault places you at the exact distance to troll the camp and take almost no damage.

On the contrary, ranged champions in the jungle do not have to deal with issues such as sustain and clearing problems.

If you know where to stand, the mobs cannot hit you and you will literally take 0 damage from the non ranged ones. It is incredibly easy to do, and it is also quite broken, because I can so easily gank the enemy much earlier than any other jungler that way. That, or I could be running Twitch, and invade the enemy jungler and kill him because he is under 1/4 health and just had to use all his cooldowns on that last raptor camp before backing....welp now he is dead or had to burn his flash.

Any, and I do mean ANY range champion can now jungle now, you just have to know where to position yourself so the mobs don't hit you, and frankly, when people figure that out...things are just going to become broken.

Riot kind of addressed this already. They want the jungle to be for jungler champs.

Last seasons was "anyone can jungle" and this season is supposed to be more limited.

Though I do think at the moment this premise could use some love. Evelynn can't jungle and other champs made for the jungle are having a really hard time. Bonus damage to neutral monsters might help in these cases, though.

The issue is that the jungle hurts enough that melee champions have just as hard a time as ranged (last season, ranged champs had a MAJOR disadvantage). That is why Kayle and TF are so good in the jungle right now, Kayle has amazing clear and great synergy with devourer, and TF gets great gold thanks to his passive and already had good ganks anyways. and the ability to kite the camps with ease makes them very healthy. Simplest solution to this is make ALL the jungle camps ranged. That wouldn't hurt melee junglers, but ranged junglers wouldn't get a free and healthy way to clear.

riot doesn't believe in champion diversity. Never has tbh. Every one of their patches doesn't support the silly nonsense they spew most of the time.

I don't mind the new jungle but I just get tired of liars. They're annoying at the vest least.

But they do this with every new champ these days; they make them sound awesome, sometimes over other champions. They want to highlight the champ's unique strengths in comparison to their peers. It's not like Rek'Sai doesn't get beat up in the jungle; the regen helps but it's not broken by a longshot.

I mean, do you really think Riot is telling you to stop playing every other jungler out there? That would be beyond silly of them. :P

lowering champion pool was intentional (as far as i know). In S4 jungle you could litteraly pick anyone into jungle.

S5 wants to be more of S1 jungle, where not everyone could jungle and so different jungler had different playstyles. Having no self heal just means you have to adopt differet playstyle. thats it.

"less awsome jungler" is just a joke.

btw I like new Jungle.

it should'nt even be an issue, pro games will be really boring this season seeing lee sin and maybe 5 other champs all the time. there wont be any room for a fun pick unless they are dominating a team in a series.

some junglers just became more Urgots, no place in the game, except to be a handicap for the team.

its bad enough you see lucian every game, now jungler will be a small group of picks, the only lane with variety left is mid

But this is not a problem of the new jungle. This pick repetitivnes was present in every role last season.

I would even dare to say in every season.

Pick preferences changes just with new updates when players realise what is strong and what is not. To have larger champ pool in games, game would have to be insanely balanced.

In my opinion new jungle changes nothing regarding the size of champion pool.
