What happened to Jinx?

I don't see her as much anymore and I noticed her play rate is down to 10%. For most of S5 she was in 1 in every 3 games. When I played her she didn't feel as strong either. What happend to make her weaker I don't recall her getting a huge nerf.

In the league of mobility and more damage than ever before, it has become even worse to be an immobile adc than before. She's too easily just caught and burst down, so she kinda has to get zoned out of where should could really accomplish much too often. She's just not nearly as good as she once was.

Also ever since her q attack speed boost scaled off her level, she has never really been God tier or anything. It really hurt her early/mid game and now, though she still has a very powerful endgame, it's so rare that she ever even gets to level 18 anymore that that isn't particularly important.

Rammus, malphite, trundle, mundo all became prevalent picks, and one trick pony rengar's are all the more common. And they all beat Jinx very easily.

most adcs are equally viable now instead of 3. people have different preferences.

She's still among the more popular ADCs. Lucian has like, 40% playrate though, so that has a lot to do with it. Caitlyn, like Jinx, has had a drop in playrate as well (though MF has increased by a lot).

She kind of got nerfed in that fishbones has 15% less attack speed (though she potentially has a lot more if she can stack her passive). She's still strong though. To me, I think a lot of it has to do with other marksmen being stronger/more fun to play. Jinx used to be far and away my favorite ADC; right now I just want to play Caitlyn. I still like Jinx, and will probably rotate between Cait, Jinx, and MF.
