Is it just me or I feel like the new Ryze can jungle?

While I was laning I decided to do krugs, after doing them at lv 3 I was like, Wait WHAT ? they did no damage to me because of ryze new passive shield and spammable combo.

Well he doesn't really sync with any of the jungle items. Magus is wasted on him cuz of all the CDR, Devourer and Warrior are obviously out of the question. He is melee and he doesn't stack health enough, so Cinderhulk isn't a very effective purchase...

The passive is unique, so you'd only get the base stats.

163 bonus health from the cinderhulk passive at max stacks on RoA. Its not terrible, its just not good. Plus you pretty much HAVE to rush your jungle item since getting it later means stunting your build, and that means your RoA is stacking late. And if you want to add an Archangels...

EDIT: Stacking more than one RoA means you become relevant at the half hour mark, by which time your team will usually have either fed or won without you

Actually, Fiddle doesn't start with a jungle item...just an Amp Tome.

Its fiddle, he has sustain up the wazoo, he spends most of his time Draining instead of autoing to get Machete procs off.
What does that Tome go into? Magus. Because Jungle items give gold and a useful summoner spell.
Ryze isn't fiddle

When I jungle fiddle, i don't build a jungle item, usually. I think it's possible to jungle Ryze the same way. Notice, I said "possible" not "good"

The problem is that the jungle isn't built to support AP junglers that aren't capable of doing it already. You can do it with Fiddlesticks, Nidalee, and a few others, but the jungle isn't capable of supporting just about every other AP jungler in the game already.

Ryze is a special case. Theoretically, he might be able to do it, but he has really bad problems later on. None of the enchants really mesh well with the rest of his kit because of the lack of a jungle item with mana and without CDR, and Ryze really needs levels in order to be a threat in the game.

Can? Maybe. Is it good? Not likely.
