I'm pretty sure you had the oppurtunity to have this role for years now. There is actually a lack of support players right now which is why auto-fill was implemented. I'm afraid I don't understand what you are talking about.

I suspect OP is asking if people would gravitate towards the OP Support role, allowing him to get the role he wanted.

I do find it embarrassing that people will call Supports OP, yet gawk at the idea of playing the role themselves. Though I suspect that's because they are not carries. That people feel the ability to win is out of their hands when they are playing well. Yet a bad support can still lose you the game. So the person playing the support goes under appreciated, and becomes the whipping boy if the bot lane goes to hell. (The other reason why people avoid it like the plague)

been working and moving the last two days so i couldnt respond but here I go

First off I like top lane

The champs I play are mostly top laners where there is some minor crossover for jungle or mid, the lanes themselves are less fun for me

I can handle the lanes, and as a secondary sure, I'll take it

the issue I have is that I paid CASH MONEY for a fucking rune page that I have to designate for the support role, something that I find no enjoyment playing, The support champions that I like, I would rather play top lane.

Don't mistake it as a disdain for teamwork either, I often do my best (In ranked at least) to leash kills that i've ensured and corall them into the underfed teammates as opposed to myself. I let my adc get last hit on first tower blood, I do my best to get camped and specifically encourage my jungler to focus on other lanes, that's teamwork in a form

The role itself is a role in which you have little control over the events in the game unless you play as a support that seems to work better top lane like nautilus or even actual supports like Leona or Taric
