Sunfire Abyssal Rylais Liandres LEE SIN, Pls Rito.

So my partner (and duo) brought up the idea that abyssal and sunfire should have a synergy. But I found a small post claiming that at the end of last year, someone had tested it out and I guess they just don't activate on each other. Also It seems that Liandres only activates on active abilities on items, not passives.

I can see where it could be really too strong on certain champions like amumu, who builds these items as almost a core build, but the prospect of building Liandres on non AP champs would be a lot of fun, and not too detrimental to Healthy gameplay when built on certain AD scaling champions like Lee Sin, or Garen, especially considering the gold they're paying for the AP, which certain champs like Riven, Lee, Garen, receive little to no especially game breaking mechanics from building a DoT AoE item, but would provide some whacky and alternative playstyles.

Lee sin would be my top choice to attempt a Shieldy, Slowy Kind of burn mage build with something like this. I was just wondering if anyone else had been interested in, tested, or considered some very non meta builds on champions who wouldn't normally benefit from building a strong 80 AP item, or from building Abyssal. And if that kind of prospect would be possible, or fair in the future, just to open up a bit of build diversity. What do you think?

And just in case anyone doesn't quite grasp the concept (I've been a little vague), I was wanting to build something along the lines of Sunfire, Abyssal, Rylai's, Liandre's, Hoping that Abyssal would be enhancing A sunfire Liandre's combo on an AD champion, Like Lee, Allowing an On your face, burn you down, my shield is sexy kind of way.
