Veigar's Stacks could use an indicative buff/icon like nasus.

Playing as Veigar earlier against nasus (We won :P), I realized after discussing with nasus that since the changes with Nasus's Q, to open up jungling and farming options, He now has a buff/indicator of how strong nasus is by measuring his "stacks/damage". I'd like to see something similiar with veigar. It's like a threat indicator. Can I approach nasus right now, oh no he has 1000 stacks. Lol, Same thing with veigar though. Especially with this new skin coming out. It's going to re-popularize veigar mid. And it'd be nice to know how "stacked" Veigar is as I approach him. I mean anyone can have 400 ap. And I understand that you can simply just continue checking ap values and probably should. But Nasus's Icon has the number right there for you, and it's a direct value that states "damage incoming : 300" or such. Thoughts?

Suggestion By : Hyrum Graff (NA) - about 14 hours ago I'd also like a post-game indicator of how many stacks I got.

What do you guys think?

I feel it isn't done since your total AP is shown already, it's not deceptive.

While Nasus, if his Q bonus wasn't shown, his damage output would be completely invisible to the enemy leading to it being very difficult to gauge if you can fight him or not until you've been hit once, which could be too late.

I'd also like a post-game indicator of how many stacks I got.

I have heard that you guys from Riot are looking for old splash arts that need updating. Can you do Veigar's. Its not that its a terrible splash art but unlike the other splash arts of Veigar, his original is the only one where his hand doesn't fully grasp his rod. It may just be a personal problem, but it's always bugged me. :/

I do like the idea, but I feel the reason they haven't given Veigar (or Sion for that matter) an indicator is because how much farm you have on it doesn't matter. What matters is the total AP (or health) for the opponent, and the Veigar/Sion can always look to see how much they've gained. With Nasus you didn't know how much extra that siphoning strike was hitting you for because it didn't add actual stats, you could only guesstimate based on his CS.

Nasus doesn't gain a tangible stat that anyone can view. Veigar and Sion do.

I believe they should also do this with Sion once they give him his update which, considering the space between visual and gameplay updates, is a month or two away from now. But yes, something showing how much HP Sion has gotten with his E or how much AP Veigar has built with his Q and passive would be real cool. I just like the numbers so I can say,"WOW LOOK AT ALL THE BONUS STUFF I HAS."

Also, Final Boss Veigar is missing the laugh on killing someone with the ultimate.

I'm on-board.

This man has taken the time to put forward a question i'm sure MOST summoners have had at one point or other (if you have ever played Veigar, that is). +1 for lol, +1 for I AGREE STRONGLY

dm5kaskade8/20/2014, 3:06:09 AM2 votes

Veigar is one of my favorites, and this should be easy to add, of course I want this!

spotdragon8/20/2014, 1:57:05 PM2 votes

I agree with this idea, I never understood why we couldn't see the stacks in the first place.

Anrui8/19/2014, 5:27:17 AM2 votes

Why this isn't a thing, I have no clue. I was playing veigar once and I really wanted to see how many AP I had gained from my Q, it would be a really nice thing.

Localizer8/20/2014, 10:57:06 PM1 votes

Nasus's Q only adds the damage to future Q uses. Whereas Veigar's stacking ability stacks onto his total AP. An indicator would be useful, as would one on Sion. But there is a greater difference and like Veigar, Sion stacks maximum health.

A stack buff on veigar would require players to do the scaling math in their heads for each spell to get an idea.

It actually creates more problems than just having his AP value.

iRetribution8/26/2014, 2:39:43 PM1 votes

I know you could just do math at the end of the game to figure out stacks, but no one wants to do that.

This would definitely help with the "Clarity" Riot was talking about IMO

Funhaver1/9/2015, 3:04:35 PM1 votes

YES PLEASE!

When I play Veigar I wish I could see my Q stacks without having to mouse over the icon. When I'm about to kill a champ, I would take a quick glance to see my stacks, then I'd know for sure whether I got the kill with my Q or my W based on whether I gained 5 stacks or 7 stacks. Yes, I could do that by looking at my actual AP, but it's just not the same. I wish my teammates could see my Q stacks without having to ask me. I wish my enemies knew how many Q stacks I had, so fear can be stricken into their hearts.

When my teammate plays Veigar I want to know how many Q stacks he has, but I don't want to bother him by asking.

When my opponent plays Veigar I want to know how many Q stacks he has, to see whether his pace is better than I average.

Riot's always talking about clarity. This is just one more way they can expand it. And a Q stack indicator for Nasus and Veigar at the end of the game would be wonderful as well, either as the VICTORY/DEFEAT screen is showing or somehow in post-game (or both).

Phoneixflare8/19/2014, 4:58:31 AM1 votes

YES PLEASE especially with the new skin coming out for him...i feel like he should also(to make this seem more legit) have more vocal lines attached to benchmarks of bonus ap gained...maybe per 100 bonus ap he starts saying more things as unit responses or says a line when he hits that mark?

UnlawfulMonad8/19/2014, 4:59:47 AM1 votes

Maybe, but if you hover over q you can see how much ap you've accumulated.

SnugglyBunnies8/19/2014, 5:11:31 AM1 votes

+1 internets for you. Rito plz!

AvariceSyn8/19/2014, 5:17:09 AM1 votes

I'm honestly surprised that this wasn't implemented when the nasus indicator was. +1 get it done.

Lord Vakko8/19/2014, 6:10:26 AM1 votes

Uh no. If I was Veigar, why would I want you to know? It's strange enough that we know what gear our opponents have. It's not like they're out teammate or they told us.

Next you'll want there to be a wishlist that people will build during champ select and you would be able to see that as well.

Why not treat everyone as "dangerous" and take the appropriate action based on risk vs. reward?

I2enegacIe8/19/2014, 4:58:52 PM1 votes

Bump....minor upgrade...but I find it a need.

BLACKB0MBER8/19/2014, 5:44:31 PM1 votes

Mainly I want this so I can see if my teammates are even playing Veigar efficiently. I was playing ARAM, guy on my team was playing Veigar .. I swear he never used Q the entire game to try to last hit minions...

But since there was no way to check his Q's farm. I couldnt just assume he wasnt even farming (trust me I watched and still told him to farm it, he didnt).

murlocmancer8/19/2014, 8:34:28 PM1 votes

You just look at his Ap?

Drackolus8/20/2014, 2:26:31 AM1 votes

The information would be irrelevant, and even a bit deceptive. While Nasus' power is directly related to his q stacks, Veigar's stacks just add to his ap. His ap is what leads to his power, not the number of stacks.
