What if Nunu's Consume ability could do magic damage that scaled off of AP when targeting champions

Just saying he's only got like one ability that does damage... Only one - his snowball because his ultimate does nothing 'cause it's easily interrupted when pretty much every new champ that's released has some form of CC

It would have to be a small amount, but yeah would be neat. Especially considering Cho'gath basically has a mimick on a longer cooldown with more damage to monsters and true damage to players too. Not saying it doesn't fit with the rest of his kit but eh... considering Nunu was made for jungling kinda seems unfair he can out-wannabesmite him... Idk :I

Cho's is an ult after all, so it makes sense that it has a lot more to offer.

True, but the rest of his kit kinda makes it a bit eh for his ult to be on-par and better than a champ's main ability even though he was made to jungle. I don't know, just seems kinda off to me.

In that case, he'd have to be deleted from the game the following patch.

nah, he'd be much more of a nuisance though...and that's kidn of his job...he can't "snowball" anyone anymore :(

I would love this....I think it used to actually do this, but it was considered oppressive at the time because nunu outranged other top laners, but then again, I might have made it up

You can always check the patch notes to fact check I think :V I think you made it up???

I'd have to search all of the patch notes since the beginning and the wikia seems to have stopped displaying changes

Nunu-specific patch history, here, documents no such change.

Nunu's Consume already deals magic damage to champions, specifically 1% of his maximum health (way better scaling than AP) on cast of abilities and on-hit whenever he eats a non-elemental, non-animal (Baron Nashor, Dragon, Rift Scuttler, Gromp, and Krugs).

1% of 5000 = 50 magic damage?

Yes....is that a problem? That's a free Wit's End worth of power, and it comes with his immense attack speed buff.

You're only getting 5000 health really, really, really late though... The game might as well be over by then.

Scaling HP/Level Seals: 216 health at level 18 Cinderhulk: 400 Health Dead Man's Plate: 600 Health Spirit Visage: 450 Health Randuin's Omen: 400 Health Veteran's Scars (Mastery): +36 Health Juggernaut (Mastery): +3% Bonus health Consume (Buff): +10% Bonus Health Cinderhulk (Buff): +15% Bonus Health

That comes to 2,152 bonus health (at level 18). Nunu's max health at level 18 is 2128, which gives another 212 health from his Consume buff and 60 more health from Juggernaut.

So that's a total of 4552 Health at level 18 assuming you save your 5th and 6th item slots for Frozen Heart and Boots. Which means that when you hit late game you have 45 bonus magic damage on-hit, that applies to your snowballs, and you have a nice attack speed buff and MS buff for sticking to targets. He doesn't need more magic damage.
