Gamer for 13 years, League of Legends is probably my favorite game ever played.

But it makes me so frustrated that Jinx was buffed for absolutely no reason before she gets a star guardian skin, And meddler then says shes going to be nerfed.

That fuckin makes me so annoyed that the gaming company i love to follow chose to do that. Thats not a healthy business practice and just makes Riots balancing/skin team look extremely suspect and bad..

IMO i probably will quit eventually, just because how Riot treats things like that. I dont think it was a coincidence.

its not a coincidence, they been doing this for the past 6 years. We help out a small compagny growing huge and thats how they thanks us...

ive been here since beta in 2009 and riot is so vile that i can't enjoy thier game anymore they sold out thier soul and morality and equity for big cash if i was working for them i couldnt sleep at night.

They also buffed lulu, pantheon, Leona, akali, poppy, Janna, and Olaf as there skins came out.....

Edit I have no idea why I'm getting upvotes....

Of course not a coincidence, buffed champ + new skin = more money, then gut the champion so no threads about opness.

The real buff was ages ago, and it had nothing to do with this skin. This last buff didn't change her, the one before it did.

And if they nerf her, I'd hope they'd revert the nerf BEFORE this last one. Being able to use your ult in a teamfight feels so good. :(

Or they are just reverting her back to her last state because they realized what they did was wrong.

Whether it's a coincidence or not, there's nothing anyone can say to make you think otherwise.

this happens all the time. ALL THE TIME, its called marketing. Fiora -> reworked -> bad trash tier Fiora gets buffed -> god mode Worlds Project skins -> $$$$ income Now for the next 3 months constant nerfs.

And probably more examples, but I'm not familiar with the champions. Diana also got a buff recently and now, 4 weeks later, croma packs available for a skin.....

The only one that gets skins without Buffs is like Ahri.

Thats not a healthy business practice

Actually, it's a really healthy business practice. It will make them more money. Maybe from a gameplay perspective, it's not, but as a business, it was a great idea for them to do.

Gamer for 26 years. (Currently 30)

League is hands down best game I have played.

Cycle went..

Childhood...(N64, Sega, SNES, GB, NES, Atari) > FF Series > Diablo 2 > Halo > WoW > League

Honestly I think there is 2 reasons

  1. the reason you mentioned

  2. Worlds patch. Maybe trying to slide another viable ADC into the pro scene so there is more than 3 at Worlds. I mean they've been blatantly buffing/nerfing champs 100% aimed at the pro scene. 6.18 is the patch that works will be played on so now they can start undoing some of the unnecessary buffs/nerfs on 6.19

I will buy the Jinx skin either way. And I think other people would also buy the Jinx skin either way. I just wish Riot wouldn't do shit like this.

I've been a gamer for more than 13 years... LOL is probably in my top-5 or top-10.

I've got FFX as my number 1 game. I've got a couple of strategy games in my top 10... you know something like one of the civ games, CK2, and Moo2, maybe stellaris as well. Putting LOL in the top spot is hard to do though because the game changes from patch to patch and season to season. For instance, is this terrible season as good as the last season or two? Probably not. This season has been so fubared I wouldn't put it in my top 10 even if the game is still enjoyable.
