What is the best build for soraka support?

I have been playing a lot of RaKa lately and experimenting with builds.

I used to get Warmogs. I no longer do. Positioning is absolutely KEY with Raka. Work on that and Warmogs is not needed.

I start ancient coin and rush sight stone and Ionian Boots of lucidity. Ideally, first back I get sight stone and tier 1 boots (and change trinket to sweeper). Second back I upgrade the boots.

The rest of my build is Zeke's, Deathcap, Zhonya's. So essentially full AP which I am happy with.

I do still have Warmogs and Locket in my item set but I am not currently building them.

There are some who contend that sight stone should not be built (opting for the upgraded trinket instead) but I still do on all my supports.

something like that in your endgame build. Not necessarily in this order of course.

if you're at this phase where you're just the ambulance truck. in the place of warmogs if you NEED MR.

Pretty standard for people who don't Raka as much, like me.

Not necessarily in that order of course. Switch out Banner for Locket for a more defensive itemization.

This build is generally the best for Soraka. Ancient Coin is the most effective start on her. She cannot utilize spell thief that well since her spells dont hit multiple times like Morganas and her AA animation is terrible.

Next go for a sight stone, followed by tier 1 boots, and then upgrade your coin to Talisman. From there on, you can either build Mobi boots for better roaming or rush Zekes. Zekes provides a huge power spike to your ADC around the same time they complete their 2nd crit chance item. Most ADCs can literally 3 shot enemies while empowered with Zekes. If you rushed Zekes first, needless to say finish your boots after.

Next, you would want to rush a Banner. Banner is an extremely underrated item. It allows a wave to constantly push in your favor, so you can get a little more out of every team fight while your enemies are too distracted to clear the side lanes. As well, the MR aura it provides might just save your ADC from enemy AP combos.

Locket is a good option if you are behind, but beware that the shield falls off later. Rushing Locket instead also gives the benefit of activating Warmongs sooner.

To top off your build, finish with a Warmongs. This item is extremely powerful on Soraka; when its passive triggers, it gives basically fountain levels of health per second. Additionally, casting heal with Soraka does not break the passive.

You will never run out of health from spamming too many heals as long as you have warmongs.

Finally, upgrade your sightstone since it is the least efficient of your items. If you have any gold left over after oink wards, tier 2 trinkets, etc. get an elixir of sorcery. T

My favorite Soraka build:

9/0/21 masteries to hit the CDR cap. Armor marks, scaling armor seals, scaling magic resist glyphs, health regen quints.

Your core stats are (in descending order from most important to least) cooldown reduction, mana regen, health regen, and ability power. Feel free to substitute the Frost Queen's Claim for Talisman of Ascension or the Randuin's Omen for a Zhonya's Hourglass.
