So I can't queue with plats, but I can get matched against them?
Who thought dynamic queue was a good idea?
P.S: I fed my ass of and my team lost the game because of me.

All I see is 173 games with 57% win rate.
Meanwhile, the others have tons of games but win rates under 53%.
What does that mean? It means your MMR is as high as theirs.
#If you want proof here you go:
http://tinypic.com/r/2qut210/9 This is your MMR.
Your MMR is quite a bit higher than average. 1,593
http://i66.tinypic.com/2hp6sd0.jpg This is the MMR of Twitch who was arguably the best player (with his champ) on the enemy team.
Normal. Now Your MMR depends on how you play! 1,581 MMR
Your MMR is higher than his.
http://i67.tinypic.com/nwjwj7.jpg And this is their plat player who has been playing like shiet for 2 weeks straight ( can happen to everyone) and is on his way to demote into gold.
Your MMR is lower than the average expected MMR for players in your division. Your MMR will continue to tank unless you improve your play! 1,627 MMR

ALL THAT IS FINE BUT THERE IS ALSO 1 MORE THING.
You were a 3 man premade on a win strike roll (You, Gnar and Lucian.)
No one in the enemy team is qued together.
Riot puts teams with premades up against slightly higher MMR enemy team if they don't have a premade.
_**
There you have it you just played worse and got your arse kicked.
The whole silvers can't que with plats worked back in season 5 because you couldn't team up with better players to progress and there was a very clear layer of difference between the elos not to mention everyone had to be an all rounder (Play all the roles).
Now people specialize in 2 roles and you have premades abusing skype to climb so Riot decided to adjust matchmaking to account for it.
Statistically(KDA and champ score), your team had 50% chance to win and they had 50%. So yes you played like sh*t and it's all your fault for losing.
**The game has accounted for your performance and you are unofficially a Gold 3 50LP. **
#Don't butt in your prejudice about DQ here when you are clearly using it to your advantage!
_**
#The reason we still have the Silvers can't que with Plats is so we don't get even more out of whack with the MMRs of players.
Creating a system that allows players to que only with teammates with similar MMR will be much better but would cost an immense amount of effort so Riot are sticking to their old system with Leagues since it's more simple and everyone likes badges.
my argument - I met one of them in my ranked games when i was duo-que with another one of my silver buddies, so i assumed he is of my mmr
none of us skyped cause we just met randomly and don't know each other in real life, just nice people.
I don't really understand the whole concept of mmr, so I cannot comment on that.
**What I understood ** Does that mean if I were to queue with a 3 man+, we would get matched with a higher elo to compensate the difference? The people I was queuing with were gold 5 (at the time of starting) and I was silver 2, So I thought our ranks were relatively close.
MMR - Match making rating => It is the thing that actually decides how good you are and not the shiny badges.
It's calculated based on your overall performance in games (KDA, dmg to champs, Gold and Win Ratio) relative to the performance of others.
If your MMR is higher than that of people placed in the same league as you - then you get more LP on win and lose less on defeats.
For instance if you are 1500 MMR and play with your friend who is also 1500 MMR.
You 2 lose 10 games together but you got S ranks on every game and he got D ranks. By the end of game 10 both of you would have lost MMR but your friend would lose more and then on the 11th game if you win you would get something like 14 LP and he will get 12-13.
Win ratio decides MMR the most but as i said performance influences it.
This is the reason when i smurfed my account and got 10 wins on Akali in a row pub stomping with S and S+ ranks I got matched against Plat 1-3 while being in silver 1 promos.
Your MMR being high allows you to skip divisions. (When smurfing I was talking devisions 5, 3, 1 at silver and gold all the way to plat skipping the 4th and 2nd layer of those elos because my MMR was that of a plat player at the time.
Generally what you need to understand is that Riot have done the best they possibly can on matchmaking but with click me
The answer is No.
The smite was good, but I'm going to testify against
not to mention everyone had to be an all rounder
This isn't true. Do you not remember the 'X or Feed' trolls? Or how there was a myriad of one tricks in Diamond+?
Dark days my friend. I tried to go top and got it most of the time but would often support if someone threatened to troll.
Yep. Or even just the people who flat out couldn't play their off roles at their current rank so you'd lose anyways.
And that shows a lot of problems with the MMR system. It punishes you for winning.
If you're a gold 5 playing at a gold 3 level, then you should easily climb to gold 3, by facing off against other gold 5s and gold4s.
But the MMR hinders you for having a high winrate. Despite you playing as good as a gold 3, the progress is slowed down by pairing you up against other better people, getting up ranks is much more grindy. Instead of just 20ish games to get to gold 3, you now have 30ish games, because you're being paired with and against plats and high tier golds.
There's also the 2/3 games and 3/5 games system, and provisionals(X/10), which have issues of their own, but those have been addressed.
True the system punishes you for winning too much because it aims at putting you in that 50% win rate balanced state.
However like i said it compensates by giving you more LP when your MMR is higher than your rank.
Forced 50% win rates is anti-balance.
First of all 50% is half of 100% which means it's the very definition of balance.
I think you meant ANTI-FUN not anti-balance... However, look at it from this angle:
This matchmaking forces constant improvement in each player.
The system constantly matches you against people who are your own level so to actually climb and progress (have more than 50% win rate) you need to constantly improve and grow as a player. This is not just on a game to game basis but each time you are unloaded on the rift. If you have 50% chance to win based on statistics, then the game is actually forcing you to get better than you were before starting it so you can take the precious LP.
You don't get good by stomping against bad players.
U git gud by losing to better players and learning from it. [slayer-jinx-wink]
The system Riot created aims at improving you as a player as quickly as possible and not your rank and shiny badge. (You get there eventually with grinding games)
The system constantly matches you against people who are your own level
Not valid since dynamic Q. There are shitload of gold players in plat games cause they premade with some plats.
So your entire post is useless.
P.S. Played really well, got my Jhin super fed early, properly engaged and peeled for him, and won the game
Stop making excuses for playing like shit
urgot support OP
As someone who has played Urgot "support" many times, that guy triggered me from the start with Dunderhead's Decree.
2 things- You are gold 4 and there's a ton of skill level difference between a silver 2 and a gold 4.
It wasn't an excuse, I fully admit I play like shit, because my ranking is average.
the point is this match is obviously unfair because you can't just put a player in a higher ELO than which he belongs and expect it to be a fair game. It ruins the experience not only for me but also for people who get teamed up with me
Im gold 4? You mean I was silver 2 in my promos for silver 1?
Im assuming you were the urgot, unless i misread something?
Wukong is clearly highlighted in the picture lol
ha ha ha ops.
Where is he making excuses? He point blank said he was the one responsible for losing the game.
Reading comprehension: 0/10.
That's the problem with DQ and the matchmaking that comes with it. The MMR is nearly equal but that doesn't matter when it's their carries that are high rank versus low rank carries on your team. Your team is going to feed their carries and the game will be over.
To be very honest with you, you have a 57% winrate. That is friggin high. You are better than you think man.
Dynaboost*
Out of all my ranked games 80% are duo 15% are trio 5% are quad/penta/solo
they are plat 5/4 with hundreds of games played, barely hanging on. they are no better then gold.
What? Your team had two plats and the other had one. There is honestly no difference between high silver and low gold. Stop looking for attention.
But where was their plat? They had a plat mid laner (carry). He had a plat support and jungle. The MMR might be the same on both teams but they are definitely not distributed the same.
How do you think it feels to be the plat with a silver on their team? It's not a fun thought for anybody.
The flawed system of Leader points
It was happening to me for a while too. Was silver 1 but lost a bunch of games with and against upper golds and low plats. I know that my MMR isn't supposed to get punished so hard in such a case, but I still dropped to Silver 2 and I'm willing to bet my MMR is crap now just the same.
in two of the 3 games i played last night i was matched against plat players in lane. a riven and a fiora. im not ranked this season at all. was silver last season but i get matched and lane against plat level rank players.
thanks riot.
match making is a perfect system
dude, all the people on the enemy team besides one of them were in your rank range, and you had two plats on your team, you just fucked up that game.
I just got placed with 2 silvers and 2 golds on my team and im plat iv with 1900 mmr.
