Is the support meta a merry go round?

It seems like each of the three subclasses of supports get their chance to shine for a couple months until they're nerfed in to the ground, until another one takes its place until they're nerfed too. Would it be reasonable then, as someone that mains Nami when I play seriously, to just wait a couple months before enchanters are on top again? It'll just happen.

I was like "yeah, wow, what good points" then I read 'as someone that mains Nami'.

Nami wasn't hit by the shield nerfs because she's not a shielder. She was only hit with her core items, she lost like 3% heal and shield power.

Her W is the purest trading ability in the game. Press W you win the trade and get 20 or 40 free gold. She's such a strong laner, disgusting champion.

Shielders were hit, not healers.
