Games Snowball and End Too Quickly
I do'nt know what the cause is. Perhaps it's an unbalanced offering of runes and the absence of old, passive runes (such as getting 27 armor and 27 magic resist for free), but early trades almost always lead to horrible romps. Games are decided between the 6 and 11 minute mark, and they snowball to the end. Don't believe me? Go to the webpage version of your game reviews and view the gold graph. It trends in one direction and rarely ever changes towards the opposite direction in any significant way. Game scores are like Victory or Defeat, with scores like 40-15 or 45-9. I took last season off and am returning to the game, so I didn't see it gradually change. I have a couple seasons ago to compare it too, and I notice extremely quick games, where the first 20% of the game (5 minutes) is kind of cool, and the final 80% of the game (20 minutes) is helpless.
I'm referencing memories of games that lasted roughly 30 to 45 minutes on average, where the gold graph might go back and forth, reflecting a hard fought, exciting game. Those are some good memories. These new games, the quick romps, are creating bad memories and bad feelings towards your product.
I think part of the problem is not having the 27 armor and MR I would have on my rune pages (myself and plenty of other players). You could start by buffing the passive MR and Armor keystones available in the Conditioning tree.
