Is Teemo going to be reworked anytime in the near future?
It's pretty sad to see a large majority of Teemo players build items and use runes/masteries that completely deviate from his primary stat (AP) and kit because of so many weaknesses such as:
- Sweeping Lens (Trinket) - Disables Teemo's Ultimate (R) Noxious Trap for 10 seconds.
- (R) Noxious Trap only lasts for 5 minutes rather 10.
- (R) Noxious Trap deals very little damage.
- (R) Noxious Trap takes too long to arm.
Though Riot did address one of Teemo's primary weaknesses such as Mana Consumption (very well done), they left unchanged the ridiculously long (R) Noxious Trap arm time of 1.0 second and the unhealthy advantages that Sweeping Lens (Trinket) has over our beloved little scout. Seriously, I've been playing hundreds if not thousands of Teemo games this season in both ranked and normals and I have yet to be able to utilize throwing my (R) Noxious Trap into enemies when either sieging or defending - they just pop their free Sweeping Lens (Trinket) and undo all of my efforts and resources I've put into my Ultimate. It shouldn't be that effective of a counter for being a free, easily accessible item from the shop that can literally shut down one champion from the game. Don't even get me started on the bouncing gimmick from the (R) Noxious Trap - I have yet to EVER use it in any manner at all, to deal damage, zone out enemies, or be effective in general. It is what I've been (and many others) calling it, a gimmick. A nice addition to the bells and whistle department that disguised itself as a buff.
Anyways, I find most of my ranked success playing Teemo not through any lanes such as Top or Mid but in the Jungle (again, something he's not initially meant to do). For those who are suspicious about any success regarding Teemo Jungle:
Back to the main point, is Riot going to make any changes to his kit to make him more of a Jungler rather than a Top/Mid laner? Or address any of the following 1-4 problems? Teemo as a champion has an incredible amount of potential to take him to the LCS. He has great objective/vision control and can counter split pushers or back door attempts very easily thanks to his (R) Noxious Trap.
On another note, the Twitter post by @LeagueOfLegends stating that "1 RT = 1 Teemo Dies" was really disturbing to me. It's like there's not enough hate or negative memes regarding Teemo and Teemo players - not a week goes by that I play Teemo without someone calling me "useless", "stupid", "retarded" or the like. I also get a healthy amount of death threats and "kys". Why is Riot Games perpetuating such a negative response?

: ....huh?
and
not revealing/disabling shrooms. Every champion should have counterplay, and this is the main way you counter Teemo.
