Potential Problem with Kled (& Skaarl)

It's Brofresco, I'm sorry, ~~this was not the best Kled gameplay I have seen so far~~ (Okay, it might be the best I've seen so far but I personally don't think he is the best player (mechanically) I have seen so far, which just makes it worse) However, watching this brought to mind a potential issue that could come from his passive.

When Kled gains enough courage to respawn Skaarl, he INSTANTLY gains a massive amount of health, especially if you have stacked health items.

At 27:20 in this video, when Skaarl came back he went from 1187 to 3553 HP instantly.

He was decently fed 8/0/16 but at 27 minutes into the game with but this could absolutely get out of control.

here is the thing, for a portion of time after you summon Skaarl you get a Debuff called Frayed Nerves, during that time if you lose Skaarl then you cant get courage until the debuff is gone, so it isnt like he is getting this giant heal multiple times a fight

he's clearly a Bruiser like Gnar, I don't see the problem as long as he doesn't get his mount back too quickly it shouldn't be a problem at all

The problem is, regardless of what his current health is, even if he has 1 HP, getting that last little bit of courage is an instant heal of 128 + 80% of his bonus health as of level 16. At the same level, Kled (not counting Skaarl) has 1353 health. If Kled has 1 HP and gains that last amount of courage, while having at least 1465 bonus health, Skaarl will essentially give him 100% of his health back, instantly. 1465 bonus health isn't really that hard to get.

that's why you shut him down with cc and stuns and fast killers (assasssins etc) while he's off his mount, while shredding him and poking him down while he's on it

Actually, my math was wrong. For some reason I was looking at his increased attack range at level 16 (no idea how I got that mixed up). Skaarl's health at level 16 is 1341 + 100% bonus health. This means the heal will be 1072.8 + 80% bonus health.

Which means in order to regain up to a minimum of 1353 (Kled's base health at level 16) health when reunited with Skaarl, Kled needs to have a minimum of 350 bonus health.

Now, you're right, the best way to shut him down would be to poke him down and then assassinate him while he is unmounted, but if he has pretty much ANY health items and he gets that last bit of courage, that more than doubles the amount of work you need to put into killing him.

On the flip side, which I hadn't considered before hand, mostly because I didn't know this. While unmounted, he is NOT able to gain any amount of health greater than his base health determined by level regardless of how much health regeneration, lifesteal, spell vamp, heals, .. anything (that I know of) so he will be quite vulnerable. At this point he will only benefit from resistances, mobility, and offensive stats. In other words, any gold invested in bonus health is WASTED on him while unmounted.

With this in mind, I can definitely find this more acceptable.

However, if he is not suppressed and killed quickly, if he has a decent amount of attack speed, CDR, tenacity, and any amount of health, he could potentially be a very annoying monster.

Yeah, Kled looks like he has two possible endgame fantasies:

Massive bruiser, like Brofresco built or Diving assassin.

If you get massively ahead for some reason, you can do either--much like J4, Vi or Volibear can opt into. Is his passive health gain bigger even than Voli's? Easily. But Voli doesn't lose most of his skills in the meantime.
