So wait, Cho'gath can do more damage than Nunu to a monster?

ACTIVE: Nunu commands his yeti, Willump, to take a bite out of target enemy minion or neutral monster, healing himself and dealing true damage.

TRUE DAMAGE: 400 / 550 / 700 / 850 / 1000

ACTIVE: Cho'Gath devours target enemy, dealing true damage (1000 (+ 70% AP) true damage against minions and monsters).

So by level 6, Cho'gath has what Nunu has at level 9, and more even then as long as he has at least 1 AP. It has an 80 second cooldown if it doesn't kill the target, a 40 if it does, where Nunu's is 9 seconds at rank 5.

Nunu can gain temporary increased health, magic damage on hit, and something else I don't remember. Cho'gath can gain permanent health until he dies, in which he still retains some if he has more than 2 stacks.

So, Nunu has a 9 second cooldown 1000 true damage to monsters Q. Cho'gath has an 80 second cooldown(reduced to 40 if target is monster and killed)1000+ true damage ult in which grants him permanent health. Nunu's cost 60 mana. Cho'gath's cost 100 mana, and refunds 50 if target is a monster and killed.

So basically Cho'gath has a Nunu Q on a 80-40 second cooldown that can also be used on players as well, though only deals 300-650.

So, what the heck? Cho'gath has an AOE knockup and slow, an AOE silence, a basic attack buff, and a ult that can deal true damage to champions that can quite possibly deal more damage than Darius's ult(depending on how many passive stacks he has) and deals more damage than rank 5 Nunu Q as well as level 18 smite, and constant sustain through killing minions or monsters.

Nunu has a 1000 true damage TO ONLY MONSTERS Q on a lot shorter cooldown, with a MS and AS slow, a movement speed and AS buff, and an AOE MS and AS debuff plus damage.

So what does anyone else think? I personally think the monster effect of Cho'gaths ult should be nerfed. Maybe just as much damage as he does to champions? I think that's fair.

Cho'gath's ability is an ultimate, Nunu's is a regular ability. It should do substantially more damage, especially since the cooldown is almost 5x the length if he gets the reset, much longer if he doesn't.

I don't see how you could possibly compare the two like that.

Cho'Gath is an ultimate, Nunu's is not. Might as well ask to nerf Nunu's ultimate because it does more damage than Cho'Gath basic spells.

The difference is, however, that Nunu's Q is meant specifically for monsters, whereas Cho'gath's ultimate does even more damage than his or smite at level 18 and its on only a 80-40 second cooldown. You're telling me that a super-tanky, super-damaging champ with a shit load of CC should be able to outjungle someone literally made for jungling? Yeah, I think not.

So comparing the Q skill on one champion to the Ult of another and realize how much stronger the Ult is and deem the champion unbalanced?

so you basically complain that cho's ULT is a bit stronger vs monsters than nunu's Q?

why shouldn't Cho have a better execute vs monsters with his ULT than nunu has with a low cd base skill? He ether has the execute vs monsters, or he has the truedamage vs champs, due tot the long cd it can't be used for both. So if you cotest a dragon vs cho ans h scures it with his ult, he will be alot weaker in a fight so you can engage on them and probably win that fight. Nunu doesn't have any drawback for eating that dragon, he doesn't loose out an any big CDs for a following fight.

Just as said below, Cho's is an ult, Nunu's is a spell, and why he has so much damage on his ult is because of his extremely short range. At full stacks and even with boots, he is still on the slow side, and to get in range to ult people, you have to be in a team fight to do that, otherwise they can get away. And jungler Cho, you really only want to ult minions early game before late, because you need to save it for a possible kill in team fights late game, and to up your stacks.

Cho'Gath's feast is an ultimate, whereas Nunu's consume is a basic ability. It wouldn't be very ultimate if it was weaker than a Q. That is like complaining that Vi's ultimate is stronger than Irelia's Q.
