Official tier list of easiest and hardest classes in the game

I'll start with the most skillful ones

Assassins: Assassins take a lot of skill, since their mobility is tied to their kill ability, and they are really squishy. While their ability to deal damage can be higher than other classes, the skill that it takes is beyond what is asked to an average player. Examples include Rengar, Zed and Talon.

Bruisers: Bruisers are slow and, though they deal decent damage, they are usually kited to oblivion. Most bruisers are hard to use since they are easily kited and are not as tanky as true tanks, also lacking, usually, lots of CC to compensate for that. I believe they take a lot of skill in general. Examples include Irelia, Garen (easy to play but highly kitable and without ult his damage is really lackluster, also too little cc) and Darius

ADCs/Marksman: With the exception of Urgot, which should actually be a bruiser, ADCs require a balance of planning and mechanics. While ADCs don't take that much skill in general, the fact that they are not protected correctly and that they lose damage or utility if they desire selfpeel, in SoloQ, makes them relatively balanced. A good ADC can win games, and a bad ADC can ruin them. It is one of the most fair classes IMO. Examples are Graves, Sivir and Ashe

Tanks: Tanks can absorb a lot of damage, have high base damage and usually can disrupt and win teamfights by their presence alone. Tanks don't take skill to be used and have usually easy to hit CC. While not the most unskilled class, on SoloQ it helps restore order to your team and prevents the enemy from being useful for a while, which is extremely helpful. Examples include Cho'Gath, Nautilus and Sion. Note that some tanks are supports, which lowers their skillcap/floor even more, but not at the same level that true supports.

Fifth place is a tie between mages and supports. Both are really unskilled for various reasons.

5a. Mages: Mages take little to no skill to be used effectively, have almost always hard CC and some mobility in their kits. Their damage output, be it constant or in a burst, is higher than all other classes, and can easily destroy a target even if really behind. Itemization is beyond godlike, having a 2.5 second invulnerability, tanky items that provide above average damage, poke and shields. Examples of this cancerous class are Diana, Veigar and Lux.

5b. Supports: Supports effectively are useless under almost all circumstances. In the few times they can be useful, they take no skill to be used correctly and are just a waste of a slot in a team. They're picked by noob players whose only role is to ward the map and provide auras for team. Even a beginner can play effectively support. Examples include Janna, Zilean and Taric.

The troll is obvious.

Uhh...what the fuck is with all this class skill debate that's been going on? Skill difficulty isn't determined by class, it's determined by a particular champion.

"Assassins take skill"

The fuck kind of assassin you been playing that takes skill?

"Supports are useless" Clearly you've never played Bard or Janna

This is completely stupid. There is no " This class is easier than the other " that's like saying calculus is easy compared to running a perfect bead on a weld. Two completely different things that have nothing to do with each other but both take skill and intelligence. I personally enjoy playing bruiser and tank champions simply because I find the play style easier for me personally to understand and execute. On the other hand, I respect people who are very good at ADC because honestly that role is super hard for me to play well, while I do understand what I am supposed to do. Also, why did you decide to put " official "?

"Mages take little to no skill" Azir Syndra Orianna Xerath lol

In all honestly, I would consider tanks the easiest.

To be honest, I know you're trolling.

Support is one of the most stressful positions to play.

Everyone expects you to peel correctly, ward correctly, sweep correctly.

If your lane loses you have a team throwing the blame on you for not peeling/killing the enemy. TBH, you can't exactly say much unless you've actually played the role and have had a really tough streak of games. Playing support is a mental task MUCH HARDER than the other roles. To say it's useless it so say you'd rather have a solo lane ADC that gets ganked 24/7 because there's no support to help keep them alive early.

First off, wtf?!?!?!

Supports do take skill. A Braum, Bard, etc must know how and when to use their abilities and quite a few of them have skillshots that can be tricky to land.

Mages also take some skill. They are super squishy (except vlad) and yea, can deal massive damage. Examples would include Azir, Syndra, Xerath, Ziggs, and Fidd.

Assassins may need skill while some don't. It all depends on the Assassin in general. Evelynn is an assassin that doesn't require a lot of skill, same with Fizz. Akali is one possible assassin that requires skill.

ADCs do take skill to use. Skill in knowing positioning, timing, and what abilities and item to use. Kindred, Kalista, and Jinx are examples.

Bruisers and Tanks can also require skill to use.

And you saying tank supports require practically no skill is hilarious.

Here's some examples of Tank Supports that need skill: Nautilus, Thresh, Blitzcrank, Alistar, and Leona.

Is spotting trolls really so hard for you people? [slayer-jinx-unamused]

I'm not sure how Talon is a skillful champ.

His entire kit is point and click or point blank AOE. There's no real skillshots. The only skill is positioning, but every class has to be good at positioning.

No offense, but since I don't see a ranked badge, I don't know what right you have to talk about skill since you are bronze/silver. I think this forum should be restricted to those with ranked badges so we don't have threads like this wasting bandwidth. You went 0-3 and fed your ass off last season on one of the easiest champs in the game (Xin Zhao) and fed your ass off going 0-2 with TF who according to you is a low skill mage. Also went 0-6 as the easy Janna with mere 11 assists, note that the average Janna has 15 assists and 4 deaths.

Also remember that you're losing against silvers, not plats or diamonds.

Is no one going to mention that Diana isn't a mage?
