Haunting Guise passive maybe to cost effective

Whe all known item 3136 as the AP snowball item in the game. But it has some problems. One of them is that it only builds into item 3151. The second point is that the item is relative expensive 2900 gold with a terrible buildpatch. Somehow I have the feeling item 3136 is the issue why the item is buildup that way.

I think I have a solution for it. But the changes would be relative extreem if you ask me:

  • item 3136 UNIQUE Passive - Eyes of Pain: +15 Magic Penetration > > > > UNIQUE Passive - Eyes of Pain: +10 Magic Penetration
  • item 3136 Cost: 1485 (650) gold > > > > Cost: 1285 (450) gold

This would mean the item will be arround the 28 gold more gold efficient [172-200]. So in term of snowball you would be able to build the item faster. But in return you lose 5 Magic Penetration what's actualy a really big deal.

With this decreased cost that have more options for item 3151:

  • They can just lower the cost of the item with 200 gold so the item will cost 2700 gold. They could maybe increase the unique passive Eyes of Pain to 12. The item wasn't that gold efficient anyway.
  • They can change the buildpath to maybe item 3136 (so now 1285) + item 1026 (860) + (980) = 3125 gold. The problem why they replaced item 1052 with item 1026 back than was because the Eyes of Pain passive was a lot stronger. Now I see the chance to try it again.
  • The last option is to let build item 1052 into another item that contains the passive from Liandry's Torment. So whe get something like item 3136 (1285) + <new item> (1085) + (250) = "2370 gold" or "2570 gold (with 15 magic pen)". This would change it into a real snowbal item.
