So where do elite amateur 5v5 LCS contenders play now?

BluePolarizer··2 votes·332 views

Right now there is no way for serious 5v5 contenders to play.

There is no place for LCS capable teams to showcase their skill.

What about the challenger series? How will the next year pro teams be decided?

Teams made by a couple of friends skilled enough to compete at a competitive level don't come around often. The main thing that happens is an owner who assembles a CS team made up of existing pros, top solo queue players, or popular challenger streamers. I don't really see a big deal here.

Heroes of the Storm or Dota 2, I guess.

counterplay isn't just dodge the skillshot. positioning, strategy and timing are also counterplays.
