Early game Sona might be the weakness support right now

Gosh, what can I say, her early game is so atrocious.

With the trending of double targon coupled with Sona's insanely low starting health (3rd lowest in the game), movespeed (lowest at 325), high mana cost spells, low healing and low poke damage, low play potentials, no hard cc. What else can she have to be worse?

I get it, she's way more better during late game. But really? Even Janna and Soraka outdamage her during early game, Tank supports even heals better than her. She can't protect her adc well.

On OP.GG stats say that before 25 mins Sona is ranked 34/35 for winrate

And that list of 35 includes fringe off meta picks like Zoe, Teemo, Lux ect...

Yeah, Sona is crap right now and everyone knows it, she is getting a slight revert on the mana nerfs she got however I doubt it is going to do much since every rune Sona uses that made her good in the first place has been nerfed and she is just going to be a shell of her former self

I've always found her poke damage with aery really annoying. Then again there's the meta

Sona really just needs compensation buffs for the nerfs to her kit tanks to her synergy with specific runes that have since also been nerfed. Otherwise, her early game weakness is a fair trade for her mid-game overall usefulness that spirals into quality late game button mashing goodness.

Not necessarily everyone's favorite style of gameplay, but she serves her purpose. Making her early game stronger would make her too strong overall considering her iconic spammability scales directly with levels, and that's honestly the most important part of her kit.
