1 or 2 of my teammates quit the game, the enemy teamcomp is 5 mage+adc and I am a melee tank. It doesn't matter how many times I start a surrender vote, there is always an asshole who keeps voting no even when it is 3v5. I am not saying it would be better if the enemy team was less in numbers but it is totally ridiculous how it is always my team where assholes have to afk and keeping me hostige. Disgusting game mode.

Tbh I'm torn on being the 1 guy who doesn't surrender. On one hand the other 4 are probably not having fun but on the other when a game is definitely winnable you just have to trudge through early game I feel it's worth waiting. Like everyone just wants the early game stomp comp and if they have a late game one they would rather surrender.
I feel like lately a ton of ARAM players changed from being laid back to going full on tryhard. With that I mean that ARAM used to be that mode where even if you had an inferior teamcomp you would still fight the enemy because that is what ARAM is: trying to have fun while casually duking it out. But for the last 2 or so weeks most of my games didn't feel like that. The team that lost one person just retreated and farmed under tower until it was 5v5 again.
This playstyle makes the mode boring and tiring.
I played again. Guess what happened? Two of my teammates decided to leave the game. We were winning until it was only 4v5 but ofc we lost 3v5. Why cannot Riot just ban these assholes? They intentionally ruin the game.
