status of varus E

His E is great for his kit. An AOE slow that actually has alot of power behind it in narrow areas of the map.

Hmm. while varus E gives good amount of decision making for the player:

• do I disengage with E and not waste my ult?
• do I engage with E and duel?

i'd say it doesn't fit because it give him too much power in zone control, dueling, and manipulating the battlefield.

He has his ult for disengaging when caught out, so his E is more of a dueling mechanism, which I think is overpowering because of grevious wounds impacting the duel but also because he can lock down an entire team while have 2-3 members under that field if timed right

I think a more mage-like ability can be added to his kit instead, while retaining the grievous wounds(its mechanic that should be expanded on I think to counter champs like , , and (who are unhealthy).

also, there is going to be a new ADC item that gives grievous wounds so just having a mage-like ability to help skillfully manipulate his positioning while providing a design discrepancy between him and other marksmen would be nice

another angle - he has too much disengage for having so many steroids. He should have 2 glaring weaknesses:

• immobility
• an incentive to be up close and personal (not spamming Q at max range)
