Who are good carry midlaners,

Azir is very weak right now. I would highly advise against playing him at all.

Some strong mid laners that can carry off the top of my head would be Kat, Leblanc, and Ahri.

Champions like Cass are also an option.

Note that most of these champions will either do well and dominate or not do well and fall off hard. That is how carries tend to work. Cass will scale to late and Ahri will still provide utility regardless. LB will partially scale to late.

Viktor and Vladimir.

If your team isn't dead when you get 2-3 items you have sky high spammable Aoe nukes. With some mind games and positioning you can nuke then all.

Also, godlike damage at max build.

Lux is really good at carrying. Being able to consistently oneshot enemies does that.

Good carries are heavy waveclear champions like cass, gp, xerath, anivia. I mean all you have to do is farm and you will get so big that every teamfight is you just getting kills. Assassins like akali or leblanc r also really good. You could also try Yasuo or katarina, but those r just really hard to master.

They have rarely ever been bad picks and are pretty much always just below the top-tier picks in mid-lane. They are versatile match-up wise (have the tools to handle most match-ups adequately) and can greatly benefit from the player's experience.

On top of those already stated, Kassadin is a good pick. He can even do well against the likes of Yasuo.
