Why Am I Gaining Less LP For Wins Now?
I can't figure it out, I get less lp every time I win and its gotten to the point of me losing more lp from one loss than I gain in 1 win. It's making climbing insanely lengthy and its discouraging :(

that dosent make any sense bc i won 70% of my last 10 games in ranked and still gets 17 lp
How's your winrate recently? If you're winning less than 50% of your games your LP gains/losses will adjust to try and get you to a rank where you win almost exactly half of your games.
MMR
It has to do with MMR. The lower your LP per game indicates that you will likely, or should be, demoted a division. It will rise again if you start winning.
On a per game basis:
15-17 LP indicates you should be demoted unless your play improves 18-22 LP is pretty average you are probably in the right spot 25+ LP means you should be promoted and you are much better than your current placement
Of course these figures are just approximations and anecdotes from my personal experience along with my friends. When I was originally placed this season I was earning anywhere from 30-35 LP per win. I was placed in Bronze I and I am currently Gold V up for Gold IV promos.
One of my buddies went on a huge losing streak. Eventually he started only gaining 16 LP per win, but this took some time. He fell from Gold IV to Silver II, but his decline began when he was underperforming in Gold over several games. Another one of my friends is currently having the same issue, he is earning about 17 LP per game. He went from Gold I, almost Plat promos, to presently Gold V with 0 LP. He lost more than he won when making his push to Platinum and slowly fell to Gold III. After that he began earning less LP per game. Part of the reason I think he fell is that he is a support main, which I believe is a very difficult role in which to climb.
One could also make the case both of my friends could have won 50% of their games and still would have fell because each began earning so little LP per win, while losing A LOT more per loss.
It is Riot's way of telling you that you are either "underperforming" or "overperforming" over a period of time. Eventually actual LP earned/lost per game reflects what Riot thinks of your play, leading to either promotion or demotion. It takes time for LP to actively change though, but when it does change the effect snowballs pushing you to promotion or demotion.
Hmm, I went 10/0/7 on jax, jungle won and got demoted xD
Also today I won 3 games getting 25 LP per game and the last game I only got 20 lp leaving me on 99 LP....
The same happend when riot gave me a ghost game after winning nobody got any LP and just a login error and then I played again and won, only to get 9 LP.
That's riot for you
