Cuz my top laners always cost us the game. When a top laner tilts he goes 0/5, two towers behind and 100 CS behind before another lane even lost their tier 1 tower.

When you get to higher elo you start having tanks in your team.
It's mathematically impossible to kill a tank 5 times in under 20 minutes since it takes 5 minutes just to kill him once.
People are exaggerating when they say top lane has 0 impact on the game. The real problem of toplane is that the current top lane meta champions are just a few out of the immense pool. Those few champions have a real impact in the game, meanwhile the remaining off meta top laners have really low chance to compete with the "elite". The gap between meta and off meta has never been this big before. Back in the days you could still outplay meta champions with off meta champions, now the disadvantage is way too big that even if they missplay meta champions win the lane (unless they completely int their lane).
There will always be a meta, where some champions are stronger than others but never before we had only this little amount of champions dominating a lane and never before off meta picks were put in such a big disadvantage.
In the end, people who main those few champions are happy but the remaining toplaners who main all the remaining champions are here complaining about top lane.
When a Toplaners is behind. There are zero options for him to come back. And since 1 kill is enough to dictate an entire game in Toplane.
