Spell Vamp and Life steal?

Since Morde's Q scales off both AD and AP (gunblade ftw) will he receieve both lifesteal and spell vamp from using it?

In the same sense, Ezrael's Q, ult, (and soon W) both scale off AP and AD, So would they receive the same effect?

this question also applies to all other hybrid champs.

Life steal only ever applies to auto attacks and spells that are treated as autos (think ez q). Spell vamp applies only to spells. I would guess that morde's q only benefits from the spell vamp, but the regular portion of the auto benefits from life steal though I'm not sure

Since ezrael skill states it applies all on hit effects, I'm guessing is it applies spell vamp, life steal, lichbane and everything else.

I dont have Mordekaiser Though, so Im not sure about him. thinking of buying his card

No no no.

On-hit effects are added effects to autoattacks. Certain spells can proc on-hit effects, but they specifically say so (such as MF's double up). Some spells modify autoattacks, and are considered on-hit effects instead of actual spells (and they say so if they do).

Lifesteal(?), spellblade, and BORK passive are on-hit effects.

Spell vamp is not.

There are On-Hit Effects and there are Spell Effects

On Hit Effects proc things like: Lifesteal, Sheen (including Trinity Force / Lich Bane / Iceborn Gauntlet) and is blocked by Blind.

Spell Effects proc things like Rylai's, or Luden's Echo

Spell Vamp (generally) applies to abilities that proc Spell Effects. If they proc On-Hit effects, they usually won't apply Spell Vamp. Some exceptions do exist.

Mordekaiser does apply spell effects with the magic damage component, so he'll Spell Vamp from the stacking magic damage. He also applies on-hit effects with the basic attack, but I don't think it'll be anything more than his base AD for the regular basic attack. I can't be 100% sure though I haven't tested it.

No, only his Ezreals q applies onhit effects. AA --> Lifesteal Q --> Lifesteal W --> Spellvamp E --> Spellvamp R --> Spellvamp Lichbane --> Nothing

Btw the only 2 abilities that apply onhit & spell effects are Ekkos e and Fizzs q.

the scaling doesn't matter, ezreal Q is considered an auto attack basically, so it receives lifesteal but not spellvamp, his W gets spellvamp but not lifesteal. Also Orianna gets bonus magic damage on her autos based on her AP, but this bonus damage would proc lifesteal rather than spellvamp. Even pantheon Q, which scales only with AD, would proc spellvamp but not lifesteal.

That clears it up ty

some clarification: Bonus damage (such as Orianna's passive or Miss Fortune's W passive) does not benefit from lifesteal. The triggering auto attacks do, but the damage itself does not (This varies from champion to champion, but generally if it's a physical damage bonus, it works with lifesteal. Doesn't really effect any other damage bonus on autos.)

(And just repeating others that might have mentioned: Spell Vamp applies to any damage from an ability that applies effects as a spell/ability.)
