Ranged Auto's keep ''fizzling''

If you move around a lot between attacks as a ranged champion, sometimes their projectile will show itself hitting the target but not actually hit the target. This has happened on minions, jungle monsters and champs for me.

I've noticed this happen for a longass time and I know other people have noticed it too. It's abysmal, is there a fix?

It happens if you cancel the animation to early. It's good to hear you've started trying to kite, though xD

...was it the part about kiting? Cuz the other part was true...

If the animation was canceled too early there wouldn't be a projectile.

Such a hassle on Quinn, especially if it's a Harrier proc.

I hate quinn mains acting like this only happens to them this happens to every ranged champ

OT: I think it's because the projectile flying and the damage being applied are two separate instances. I can usually break an auto like that every other time i try.

I'm not a Quinn Main. But I've found canceling hers is a lot easier than on most other champs. Especially the passive procs.

Disproportional backswing frames? I don't know how LoL's animation system works, but it feels like this happens when you cancel the auto at the very last second.

Sometimes I hear Graves auto go off without me firing. Usually during reload.

This can happen on many champions, (I notice it on riven the most). From what I can tell (I could be very VERY off) if you cancel your auto attack animation there is a small time frame (the time between you canceling the attack with your mouse input and the time riot's server registers your cancel) Basically if your auto attack would have 'fired' in this time frame the animation still plays and the projectile is still launched, but only on your screen.

EDIT: By saying I notice it on riven the most I mean the attack hitting sound plays and the slash mark shows up on the target

On lucian I will see the shot go off, and almost go back into his gun.

Don't try moving so quickly after attacking.

This happens to me on Jinx more than anyone else, but I've had it happen on just about every champion I play. (All ranged~) It's especially obvious when it happens on Bard and Lulu because Meeps and Pix don't follow up afterward.

This happens a lot to me on Tristana even after the projectile is half way to the target.

They fixed this bug a while back in I believe S3/S4. It seems to be a problem again though.

Seems to happen a lot to me on draven since the update.

You too? Just want to catch axes, but they don't bounce when this happens.

I'm really not so sure why "bullet has very obviously left gun" = selfcancel when you move too early, but Riot has "reasons" (they always do).

Now you can understand how the Quinn mains have been feeling.
