What do you think about these little item changes?

1- item 1052 costs 435 400 gold: no more OCD trigger warnings! (seriously tho, during pre-season the price of every single base component in the game has been changed to a multiple of 25, except amp tome, because fuck amp tome, I guess) 2- item 1018 builds from item 1051 + 400 gold. 3- item 1037 and item 1026 are removed from the game. Recipes that included them now have item 1038 and item 1058 instead. 4- item 1038 costs 1300 1000 gold and gives 40 30 AD. Now builds from item 1036 + 650 gold. 5- item 1058 costs 1250 1000 gold and gives 60 50 AP. Now builds from item 1052 + 600 gold. 6- item 3035 gives 25 30 AD. Its upgrades (item 3033 and item 3036) give 40 45 AD.

item 1037 and item 1026 are cool tho, besides, item 1038 and item 1058 already had their prices reduced by a huge amount. i like the first 2 ideas tho

I don't like them because offensive items have too many base components:

  • AD: item 1036, item 1037, item 1038
  • AP: item 1052, item 1026, item 1058

Those changes are meant to create between Longsword and BF Sword (or Amp Tome and NLR) the same relation that there is between item 1028 and item 1011, in order to simplify things and make early offensive itemization choices much easier.

We've already seen this change in armor pen items like item 3142 and item 3156, which have improved the qol of assassins.

Yes, there is a very good reason item 1026 and item 1037, and all the others mentioned, are in the game. They are reasonably expensive items for reasonably powerful builds. The Amplifying Tome price is ridiculous though, I do agree on that. Personally, I wish Cloak of Agility were better, and built into more, unique, items. I don't think it needs to be broken apart though.

why the fuck would you want to buff adc? are 3 on every team not enough?

Almost none builds Last Whisper. Anyways, it's because I had to add 5 AD to Last Whisper, since it would be built from BF and it would give 30 AD.

that doesnt mean its smart, nor last whisper being underpowered.

if people dont build a 1300 gold item even when they see their opponent stacking a frozen heart with a thornmail, then thats their problem.

Last Whisper is kinda underpowered. None builds it because it only pierces bonus armor and an easy counter to that is to have massime amount of health, shields, and health regen (in fact champions with those stats are meta right now). I strongly believe that 5 bonus AD won't make Last Whisper OP. Marksmen are unbalanced for other reasons that should maybe addressed in another situation.

i just dont think their items need any further buffs, even if its just 5 ad, nor do they need more comfortable build pathes until theyve sorted them out so we dont see 2 or 3 adc teams on a regular basis.

The new BF sword is effectively less gold efficient. To gain the same amount of AD you previously had, you would have to build one item 1038 and one item 1036, which has a combined price of 1350 gold (50 gold more than what's on live servers). On the other hand, the new Amp Tome and the new NLR are more gold efficient.

it still builds into the same items. will they get a reduction to their ad aswell?

I don't understand your question. Are you asking if the items that the BF sword builds into are going to get their AD reduced? The answer is no. The only thing that will change is the combination price of the item. It would be adjusted in order to make keep the total cost of the item unchanged.

For example: item 3031 = item 1038 + item 1038 + item 1018 + 800 gold.
