Why can't I forge multiple blue essence packs from event tokens?

I really don't want to sit here forging essence for the next half hour because the client is dumb and doesn't carry over a system that it already has.

It's the same story with every event so far. Think about it. Riot does these events for a burst of fat money. Blue essence=free champs, therefore grinding blue essence has to feel bad.

Most likely? The client is not programmed to do this.

It is programmed to do it for keys though so changing it to function the same for event tokens should be an easy thing to do.

I can only guess that the spaghetti code of the client is just dangerous enough to prevent any major addition. Did you know that Nunu and Willump name required an update to the client's code to be shown in champ select/loading screen?
