Lee doesn't bother me that much and i'm not sure why.
My opinion on the whole Lee Sin is op thing:
I mean, he's annoying, i'll give you guys that: he's mobile and dishes out damage like crazy if you don't watch him. I used to loathe him.
I don't know why he doesn't bother me as much as he used to. I still see him basically every game, and maybe that's why. Maybe i got used to Lee Sin and a Lee player's mentality. I can easily predict when he'll Q or when he won't. I know when to keep chasing him or give up because i know he'll ward jump. I'm got used to positionning myself slightly left or right or my teammates so that Lee won't kick me to knock up my adc(ofc i will stay in the way of my adc if they have a Blitz).
Now that i know how to deal with Lee, he doesn't bother me. He's played so much i always expect him. Hell, i'm having harder times when weaker champions jungle because i don't know their mindsets. I'm having trouble facing Nautilus, for instance. He's got a point and click CC which means my positionning won't matter to save my adc, and his tankyness and potential damage(shield) are surprising. Also, Naut is a far superior peeler than Lee. Playing as Sion(again), i couldn't touch their adc. When against a Lee, he just jumps on my team while i charge at their back line. I tank more damage than he can, so he dies, i distracted the enemy carries long enough and forced them to use their long cooldown skills on me, so it's cool and we win.
Lee Sin sort of became a reflex. Like a little machine starts rolling when i see him on the loading screen. It just happens. I know how to jungle against him, where to ward to prevent his little
anigans.
Playing Sion against a Lee is fun. I'm not with or against very skilled players(not the best myself) but most of the time, when a Lee Qs someone when they're next to me, they'll hesitate a second. Give me enough time to charge a Q in the direction they'll dash and pop goes the blind monk. Of course, it doesn't always work: some don't hesitate, some just don't go in and others wait for my Q to end, but when it works...it feels good.
In other words, seeing Lee in a lot of games forced me to learn every little thing about him. I played Lee once(to try him out) and i know so much about him i could probably try him out again and get an amazing score. Then again, my mindset is focused on helping my teammates, so i might have problems with that. So yeah, if Lee ever gets nerfed or something that makes him a rarer pick, i might have trouble playing jungle now.
To end on a more positive note, i really really want to say that the Sion rework is amazing in every little way and that he's so much fun to play. God bless new Sion. God bless bad Lee Sin players.
