It's possible that one of his skills will allow him to grow a shield out of gems from his arm.

Makes makes me sad because he was one of the only "Sword and Shield(Mace)" archtype in the game.

Panth has the lance and shield combo, but its just not the same as the classic warrior sword and shield archtype

Gem shield growing out of his magic purple tattoo sounds pretty dope, would give a clear distinction when he shatters it as well, assuming he keeps that spell in some form or another.
