For me, I take Jhin mid vs Lux. You actually have close to the same range. You can farm safely and out trade her because her mana costs are pretty high. And post 6 your ult gives you a massive advantage in lane. The only way she can really kill you is if she flashes on top of you and unloads her combo. I take barrier into this match though so I can still live sometimes.

I know this sounds crazy, but you can effectively sandbag the lane and deny her a snowball. She'd have to roam to get kills and as long as you and your team can warn each other then she'll be going hungry.

Karthus vs Yasuo, farm safetly and none of his moves are projectiles. Even if he bursts you down you have ur passive and ult.
The Sword Saint1 votesDiana vs Kat. Kat's weak early game gives Diana time to hit 6 easily, and Diana wins trades because of her shield and kats melee nature. Post 6 diana outbursts, out dps, and out tanks katarina, and also has a button that exists purely to deny katarina from ever getting to use her ult 1v1. In roams diana has an aoe pull and slow for cc where kat has none, and her ult can be used to chase enemies farther by procing q's. In teamfights Diana can instagib a target without needing to bait out cc, while having a better chance of surviving the dive due to her shield. Lategame diana scales super hard compared to katarina.
All stages of the game diana has a huge advantage. You can of course mitigate this temporarily by being a much better kat player, but eventually the scaling on diana will still overtake you while having a simpler and safer to execute assassination.
