Why Hate on poor Galio?
Going into a normal the other day as support I picked
(I haven't played very long so I am reluctant to call him my main but made it to Level 7 so by far my best champ), My ADC, a
, said "you can't play Galio, he has the worst win rate in LOL" and when I didn't change he didn't lock his pick.
Is that true? I mean I do well with him and I am really not very good. Maybe people are using him wrong? So here is my case for Galio:
First of all I only Sup never lane, his R -Idol of Durand - is an awesome multi target taunt and W - Bulwark- are wasted without a team mate to back you up.
When my ADC is working on at Turret instead of tanking I will often fall back and use my E - Righteous gust - to push more minions down the lane ahead of enemy waves.
Opponents - You will want to avoid other support tanks
but he is known as a mage crusher thanks to his passive, so having Champs like
frequently in the bottom lane makes Galio a viable counter.
Allies - I have trouble keeping

alive
better to team up with
also if you can catch the other champs in Galio's Ult and combo it with an Ult from
They have a good shot at a PentaKill
There are better players who no doubt have shared better builds than what I have come up with, so I won't get into too much detail, but here is what works for me as a main Item set
My Math may be questionable but with these items, masteries and runes I use @ Level 18 should yield-
2,200 bonus health
141 bonus magic resist
287.6 Ability Power
550% health regen
I know you probably won't do it but I would encourage you to try it out before you comment. I suspect that many of the most negative responses will be from people that have never used Galio or even seen him in action
really helps more than you'd think with the mana, as long as you don't try to spam your spells maybe I won't get any Kills or assists but if my partner is
or
