Just curious how often other people get flamed by a teammate? I was doing the math and I think I am at about 40% over the last 20 games. That seems high to me especially since I am getting chewed out by a teammate in almost as many wins as in loses. Is that the norm or am I just unlucky or a horrible teammate?
It would depend on an individual's definition of flame. Someone criticizes one or two things? I don't really count that as flame.

Not really flamed really but people being talked down to non stop is in basically every game I play.

I get flamed a lot for my positivity and rationalizing our path to victory to teammates who are spamming the surrender button and all chatting to the enemy that they are "being held hostage" because the rest of the team hasnt given up yet.

Ps.: But of course it depends on your definition. For most of the people here on PB Boards giving an advice not to facecheck everything is already flaming O.o

I mute all unless I'm with friends. I keep pings enabled for I have some form of communication but lately I had to mute all so much toxic teammates almost every game.
It's usually about 1 in 5 games for me when it comes to normals, but that rate goes up to about 1 in 3 if I'm playing ranked or ARAM.

I'm sitting at about the 60/40 rule. 60% it's good 40% it's bad.
My new comeback if someone is flaming me or another teammate:
"I'm sorry Mr/Mrs (character name, NOT summoner name) but I'm going to have to mute you No reason to tilt This is a free win Keep playing your best Mr (other character/character name being flamed) and we can win it"

every single game! But riot has added a mute button so that it really doesn't matter. Its unfortunate that other players aren't intelligent/resourceful enough to locate that button as well. Riot really shouldn't ban people for the words they use unless its racist/homophobic/ableist or another form hate speech. Just calling someone bad or trash or something like that is a ridiculous thing to ban an account over.
About 95% of all SR games, and about 5% of ARAM games.

I've just looked up my past 20 games and counted the ones i remember being flamed in or even just people blaming all the rest of the team, and its 13/20 if i remember correctly. The last game in particular is what sent me to the boards, my whole team kept talking shit of me, agreeing on how bad i was and even going in all chat, to the point where i actually ended up crying. Im currently here searching for others who also got shit to make myself feel a bit better
Maybe 5-15% of my games. Hard to remember. In the recent past, I can only recall one game. But i only play twice a week.
If you are interested in trying LoL, you will be welcomed by insults and flames from your whole team, they will also all report you. Every game until you finally get banned. There is simply no way a new player can play without facing this behavior.
