Win rate isn't the full story behind champion buffing and nerfing, What if the jungler feeds and they have to deal with a fed rek sai. It isn't the veigars fault, also when champions are changed people have to learn the champion again, you cant just E on the enemy you have to place it better now.

Your first point is Void. As ALL the champions have an equal chance of that happening, thus evening the playing field. If anything it skews it in the correct direction, cause if you are some one who can make plays (ahri for example) you can make a come back, where as Veig it is much harder to make plays with the new veig.

Your second point would be valid, if it was the first week, we are onto the second week. AND veig is not a new champion, his play style is still the same. But it is just MUCH harder to pull it off than it was before.

"his play style is still the same."

This is where it's up for debate, the fact that his stun is delayed means he can't just instastun and burst a target anymore.

He's gotta time it. That's how a play style shifts.

Ya, I've just told people to play him like Nasus at this point. With the exception of going tanky of course.

Problem is, Nasus can afford to take quite a few hits while farming, and since his Q only hits one creep, he can freefarm pretty easily.

Veigar does not have that convenience. First of all, he's not tanky at all. If he burns his Q for poke in the early game, he has to wait 7 seconds to get it back. Secondly, if he is farming with Q, he needs to get 2 minions in a row to less than 10% health, then Q both to safely get 2 stacks, all while trying not to get poked down by Leblanc or whoever. This also keeps Veigar from being able to freefarm as he pushes the wave WAAAAAAY more than before. Nasus barely pushes the wave at all and his stacks don't require a skillshot.

I know.

That's why the champion is so bad right now. You are forced to play him like Nasus but are inferior to Nasus in every way. The real problem with his change is that this isn't Veigar's play style, you didn't play him like Nasus.

**If I wanted to play something like Nasus, I would be playing Nasus. ** *This is my biggest problem with the changes really. *
