These changes to Tahm would balance him

  1. If an opponent spell shields or otherwise avoids devour, it should go on cooldown. The functionality to not go on cooldown vs immune monsters should not extend to players.
  2. If an opponent uses QSS, oranges, or some other method to be dropped early, they should also avoid the damage from devour.
  3. Stunning an opponent should remove acquired taste the same as devouring them - Tahm should not get a free 4-second CC once a player is 3-stacked.
  4. Tahm's grey health shield needs to grow in effectiveness with rank: 30/45/60/85/100% conversion instead of 100% at all ranks

At the same time, there are some QoL changes Tahm also needs to be more user-friendly:

  1. Priority for devour if multiple legal targets are under cursor: 1) 3-stack enemy champions, 2) allied champions, 3) minions/monsters
  2. His bubble shield needs to be more responsive. There is a tiny delay where Tahm can hear the sound when using the ability but still due from damage before the shield activates. It should be instant.
  3. His tongue lash should hit targets that are inside of his hit box. Frequently units get spat out directly under Tahm. Then, even if he is auto-attacking them, he cannot hit them with Q.
  4. Spitting minions/monsters with W still bugs out if you spit them too soon after devouring them (it drops the unit at Tahm's feet instead of firing it as a projectile.

Stop trying to call for nerfs to a champion that isn't too strong

You should look at my champion masteries before thinking that I'm some biased random tahm hater.

You seem to be losing a lot of your recent Tahm games, I don't really see why you think he needs nerfs. He's performing exactly how Riot wants him to, else he would have gotten nerfs patches ago. He actually just got one to his AA range

Tahm needs some nerfs, just small ones, like mayb let stack fall off a bit faster, or make his stun consume an acquired taste because no champion should be able to hard cc you for 5 second after just 3 hits even morgana's snare isn't so strong since you can still dodge it fairly easily and it doesn't last that long.

3-1 that would be too dramatic a nerf on his kit because he has a short as range this was made to let him caught to devour

4-1 the trade off heal scaling seem fine if he uses it the cool down is decently long and he won't heal

1-2it is impossible to have multiple curser targets...

The rest of your recommendations and bug reports I have not problem with

He should consume the aquired taste to the stun and devour enemy.. Its not fun to get stunned for 2 second then get devoured, then stunned again because you are still at 3 stack , get devoured again because too short cooldown and so on...

Devour does consume acquired stun. It is impossible for him to immediately stun you after devour unless you let him get 3 more AA's off on you again.

Plus if you can you get stunned->devoured->stunned->devoured again and so on, with AA's in between then you are a very tanky tank (which means you shouldn't be complaining because Tahm just wasted a lot of time on you) or a decently tanky damage dealer (i.e. juggernaut) who for some reason is not attacking Tahm. Tahm's tanky, but he is still killable.

Not only that, but if you're actually a priority target and he easily got onto you, he's a fucking wizard, or you suck

thing is it wasn't consuming the mark, so no there was no delay between stun and devour. Being tank mean nothing since it deal max health damage % , tank or not tank you are still going to die.

Then it is either bugged or you were not paying attention (or you were stunned by someone else). Also my point with the tank comment was that if you can survive 2 stuns and 2 devours you should not be complaining. Of course you are going to to eventually die- tanks doesn't mean they can't be killable and Tahm's W directly counters other tanks.

If you let Tahm stick on you for that long than either you are terrible or the rest of your team should be focused on him or destroying the rest of his team. All of his damage in that scenario is single target and if he goes through 2+ rounds of his combo in one fight then he is wasting it on the tank...and it is much better for the tank to be Tahm Kenched than the carry.

It was on PBE and it was one on one during laning phase . So it wasnt teamfight, i was playing Rammus and hé locked kench as last pick on enemy team, so i couldnt know it was him otherwise i would picked someone able to kit. But hé wasnt auto attacking between stun from Q and devour W, hé was just casting it.

The shield conversion ranking up is good call as well

tbh i'm not on the "tahm needs a nerf" train at all, but these feel reasonable. i disagree with part 1, #'s 2 and 4 (i'd be ok with a damage decrease or something on devour if it's cleansed but avoiding the damage altogether isn't really fair when it's his best damage source more often than not, and i think the idea of his shield growing in effectiveness is good, but i don't think 30% at rank 1 is enough) all that said, and given that i think he's in a good place, these do seem like fair and balanced nerfs, and the qol stuff is also very thoughtful
