Hello! Cound't write to you somehow else. Have you play with new Darius at PBE? Can you record a game please? EUW gamers can't really play at PBE because PING is just too high right there (400+ MS). Yeah. There are a lot of "letsplay" videos on YouTube but these guys are so bad with Darius. We need you to show us some dunks! Can't wait untill patch 5.16 gr-r-r....

Sigh... Fine. What do you think about runes for Darius after rework? Now he definitely needs MS quints. Especially when bleed doesn't provide any MS boost. His abilities scale more with total attack damage so I guess he needs AS marks (low attack speed tho).

what do you mean "fighter and defensive itemization"
kit? balance the kit? defensive itemization = what? tank item such as sunfire cape, fo, sv, etc?

A new item or two, plus some small (mainly) adjustments to defensive items (in general Armor items are getting slight nerfs, MR items slight buffs).

Out of all of the Black Market Brawler items, I feel like it's easily the easiest item to appreciate and it completely solves the mobility issues on traditionally immobile champions like Garen, Olaf and Darius. If Garen and Darius were able to pick up Dead Man's Plate relatively early on, then their mobility issues outside of laning phase would be completely solved and it would be much easier to play them against champions like Gnar or Quinn who can just kite them out of lane.

ProfDrDeath5 votesMeddler, can you please be VERY careful with the tweaks to Armor? Last time Armor items were majorly changed, it led to a season of AD assassins and fighters running rampant and tanks feeling particularily useless...Support the idea of a slight nerf, but please be careful, ok?

So if they want the game to be like that they can just remove/rework all tanks and spare their players the pointless joke that is defensive itemisation.

CLB3tDE2ij2 votesYou can easily last longer than 3s against an adc late game full tank, team fights. Your job is to secure the kills for your team and target the adc or the fed one. You are usually equipped with cc that you wont take a lot of damage from them because you shut them down for your team. You make it seem like you are alone in a 1v1 with the adc all the time.
Earl Eulrich2 votesand yet...the meta is never about killing the dps-mage, but always revolves around dealing with an adc (either protecting him as a team or bursting the opponent one down) - as even 200mr make you significant tanky vs an apc, while 350armor later on is close to useless vs an adc.
CHAD AHRI MAIN1 votesWell, with the common knowledge that every point of armor increases your effective hp vs physical damage by 1%, 4,000 hp + 3.5(4000) is gonna be about 18,000 raw health vs adcs. Now i don't know what adc's youre thinking of, but most of them cannot deal 6,000 dps to kill that kind of a tank in 3 seconds. Your hyperbole is incredible, and your argument cant be taken seriously when you make goofy claims like that.
But if i were to humor this 6,000 dps adc, i guess he would have to have max attack speed. Thats 2.5 attacks per second, but he might need 100% crit chance too, just to come close. I suppose last whisper armor pen matters too. So vs last whisper, this tank now has 15,700 effective hp. Thats 5233.3 dps, 2093.3 per attack, 837.3 before ie crits. 837.3 ad is infinitely unattainable for an adc who is also itemizing for lw, 100% crit, and max attack speed, and attacks of that damage are equally unattainable for Caitlyn or Draven or Kog'Maw or whoever.
And lets be honest, if you can tank an adc that is stronger than the game can even let them be for 3 whole seconds, you're doing your job as a tank.
Sire Hippington1 votesand adc is not alone, there are 4 more enemies, there is LW and eventually a BC, which would cut your armor in haf, and maybe a wukong or J4 Q, leaving you with 120-150 armor, so and effecktive hp of +8800-10000. An adc with fullgear has above 1500 raw dps, not featureing any skills steroids or whatever yet, so if not only thae adc but also their team put down some damage on you it easily happens that you die in < 3 sec, as most peeling tanks have %health damage and you won't have much mr if you go for 4k hp and 350 armor, or you have so little damage that the enemie team can ignore you till the fight is over...
CHAD AHRI MAIN2 votesand the more resources you list that the enemy team has to throw at the tank, the more the tank soaks up, the more he does his job. You have to understand that if 3+ members of the enemy team focus the supertank, thats an incredible amount of freedom for the carries on the tank's team, who should hypothetically be sporting the exact same dps. plus you can't mention skill steroids, because the tank will have those too- what if its a maokai or alistar who reduces damage? Or the tank is a mundo with constant health regen? What if the tank has cc, if the tank can taunt? what if its a leona and she disables the enemy carries.
but at the end of the day, if you die that quickly as a super beefy tank, and your team can't capitalize on all that pressure you just absorbed, then it's your own failure for being an ineffective tank, it's not because you're underpowered, you just got outplayed. tankbusting is a real thing and its very common for tanks to be completely shredded when they miscommunicate or misposition, thats the nature of the game.

sp4415 votesWhen the AP itemization tweaks came around, no item was really nerfed. Even items that lost some stats gained something in return, like price reductions.

One thing specifically that needs to be fixed before it's pushed to ranked: need an option to make the scoreboard completely opaque.
With a semi-transparent scoreboard, it's hard to see who is MIA when you press tab, because the color for seen/unseen opponents is very similar (and if part of the scoreboard is against a bright background, and part of it is against a dark background, you REALLY have to squint to see which enemies are MIA using the scoreboard instead of the map)

So, it's possible that Yorick will remain unloved by Riot for two more years? I cannot tell you how much that sucks, given all the time you've already wasted not doing anything for him.

As a Garen main (thats right I said it), I've stuck faithfully by him while getting taunted, made fun of, called a newb scrub, and generally looked down on. I love playing Garen. I love him as a character. I just hope the rework will bring him a little validity in this cold cruel world.
